Gene Simmons isn’t just the pretend-arrogant, fire-breathing, kiddie teaching KISS bassist, you know. He’s also had it off with every single woman you have ever met – as he’s quick to tell everyone who even so much as looks at him.

But the Gene Simmons bedroom Olympics have hit a hurdle – a woman who claims to be Gene’s ex-girlfriend is suing him for defamation after his appearance on a VH1 documentary made her appear to be a "sex-obsessed nymphomaniac."

KISS (CDs) aren’t famous for their groundbreaking music – in fact, their
music stinks – but they have managed to market their image as a bit of
a dumb clown band very successfully. And the ringleader of this has
been Gene Simmons, whose shtick can be boiled down to three points:

1 - He has quite a big tongue
2 - He has really crap hair
3 - He’s shagged loads of girls

By repeating number three to everyone all the time wherever he goes
always everywhere always, Gene Simmons has built up a reputation as
some kind of swordsman. But he might have bragged about one woman too
many.

During a VH1 rockumentary entitled When KISS Ruled The World, shown
in America and Canada throughout the year, Gene went into sexboast autopilot.
At points during the show he said things like:

"There wasn’t a girl that was off limits, and I enjoyed every one of them"

and

"I was a 24-hour whore. All I ever thought about was sex."

But
the last comment was accompanied by a photo of Gene Simmons with
Georgeann Walsh Ward, a woman who claims that she was in a "romantic"
monogamous relationship with Gene for three years in his pre-KISS
years. Images of Georgeann were shown 11 times in total throughout When
KISS Ruled The World.

Although Georgeann Walsh Ward was never
mentioned by name in the rockumentary, she is suing Gene because the
use of her image makes her seem "wild" and "unchaste".

Gene Simmons had attempted to dismiss the lawsuit, but State Supreme
Court Justice Rosalyn Richter has denied his efforts. Georgeann Walsh
Ward is seeking unspecified damages from Simmons, his company, KISS
Catalogue and VH1 parent company Viacom for defamation and invasion of
privacy.
