Overpriced? Its a higher spec than its rivals and its actually sold at a loss. The 40gb model is also cheaper than the 360 Elite yet it has free online play, built in WiFi and a BluRay player. Expensive? Yes. Overpriced? Not in the slightest. Someone on another forum pointed out that to spec an Elite to PS3 standard and play it online for 5 years would cost you about $1000 while you could buy a 40gb PS3, install a 200gb hard drive and play it online forever for $550.

Overhyped? This is a case where you should believe the hype. Its a well made, reliable, feature pakcked games console that is already proving with games like Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted that its not only better made and more reliable than the 360 its also more powerful.

Stupidly-advertised? Sony have sold more home consoles in 13 years than Nintendo have in 30.
