Today is Red Nose Day, and in between being accosted in the street by all sorts of wacky bastards in the name of charity, you'll also get the chance to watch Tara Palmer Tomkinson face off with Tricia Penrose in the Celebrity Fame Academy final.

Last night's Celebrity Fame Academy semi-final had all the drama you'd expect from a televised karaoke competition between two minor actors, a late night DJ and a woman who… oh, who knows what it is that Tara Palmer Tomkinson actually does. Anyway, over the course of the Celebrity Fame Academy semi-final, we lost Colin Murray – the over-active, over-confident Radio 1 DJ with a voice like an old lady running for a bus; and Shaun Williamson – the pub foghorn who was previously the favourite to win Celebrity Fame Academy until all the girls voted him off.

So who'll Celebrity Fame Academy tonight, Tara Palmer Tomkinson or Tricia Penrose? Here's our last-ever Celebrity Fame Academy betting odds, with help from Paddy Power…

Tricia Penrose – Tricia Penrose is the exact opposite of Tara Palmer Tomkinson. She can sing like an angel, hold a note for eternity and pretty much go pound for pound with any of the artist who she covers – but that's it. As we've said before, Tricia Penrose's greatest ever love affair has been with herself – during her one phone call with her only child this week Tricia only discussed herself – and that kind or narcissism doesn't really lend itself well to charity talent shows conducted via telephone votes. If Tricia Penrose could just pull one performance out of the bag that had confidence and emotional engagement and warmth instead of flinty determinism then there's a chance she'd win Celebrity Fame Academy. Tara Palmer Tomkinson – It's been said that Tara Palmer Tomkinson is the soul of Celebrity Fame Academy, and if that's the case we're terrified. We appear to have fallen asleep and woken up in a land and time where the epitome of soul is an over-privileged woman with a nose that collapsed due to her excessive use of drugs croaking out one atonal modern-day torch song after another and then bursting into tears because the lyrics of the songs directly correlate with the perceived rubbishness of her actual life. We always thought soul was James Brown. Anyway, Tara Palmer Tomkinson has made it a long way into Celebrity Fame Academy because of this – well, either that or they want to see Tara hurl herself into the Thames – and now she's officially joint favourite to win the show.
