Fame Academy Betting Odds: Angellica Bell Ends

Now that Celebrity Fame Academy is hurtling towards its messy conclusion, you'd imagine that only the cream of the crop would be left in the running, but you'd be wrong - they're all rubbish, but last night Angellica Bell was voted as the rubbishest.

We always understood that Angellica Bell was serious about Celebrity Fame Academy since she ditched her honeymoon to take part, but towards the end she took to outright crying every single time things weren't going well. And that was a lot because, frankly, Angellica Bell was rubbish. For all her best efforts, Angellica couldn't hit a note from two paces with a bazooka if it called her Mum her a slag. Angellica Bell's staying power on Celebrity Fame Academy was her constant improvement, which did sort of happen. At the start of the series, Angellica's voice was so horrible that it actually made our ears explode. By the time she wailed I Just Can't Get You Out Of My Head on last night's show they were just bleeding a little bit.

But who's going to win Celebrity Fame Academy this year? Here's the first part of our Celebrity Fame Academy betting odds - for Colin Murray, Ray Stubbs and Tricia Penrose - with help from Paddy Power…

Colin Murray - Our problem with Colin Murray is mainly that he constantly thinks he's better than he is. We saw him on RI:SE, so we know he really isn't. And this ludicrous overconfidence isn't winning Colin any friends inside Celebrity Fame Academy either - every waking second of his time there is spent forcing his advice and opinions on everybody else, so much so that Colin Murray is actually becoming The Annoying One out of Celebrity Fame Academy, which is really saying something for a contest that involves Tara Palmer Tomkinson. Anyway, Colin Murray's confident Celebrity Fame Academy attitude would probably be more helpful if he could actually sing, but he can't. He sounds like an asthmatic toddler trapped inside a sleeping bag. Current Celebrity Fame Academy betting odds - 12/1

Ray Stubbs - One of the reasons why everyone thinks Celebrity Fame Academy is so shit is because of the quality of the judges. They're useless - since they all have their eyes on being the Simon Cowell of the series no two of them can agree on a single point which, for professional judges, is a worrying sign. Case in point is Ray Stubbs. Right from the outset of Celebrity Fame Academy, Ray Stubbs has managed to get through by talking the words to a bunch of blokey anthems and jumping up and down like your Dad at a wedding would if he was more self-conscious and less prone to drunken fits of domestic violence. And every time Ray Stubbs finishes a song the Celebrity Fame Academy judges line up to tell him how wonderful he was. He wasn't wonderful. he was rubbish. Either the Celebrity Fame Academy judges need their ears cleaned out with a javelin or Ray Stubbs is holding their children hostage. That's the only logical explanation. Tricia Penrose - Screw charity, because Tricia Penrose has got her eye focused on something else entirely. Tricia wants to win Celebrity Fame Academy so much it actually pains us to see her frighteningly ambitious face on our TV. And then after Celebrity Fame Academy she'll be offered an album deal and superstardom and a leading role in Chicago so she'll finally be able to leave Heartbeat after all these sodding years. Trouble is, Tricia Penrose is so fixated on winning Celebrity Fame Academy that she's forgotten that she needs to make people like her too, and that's quite a big part of it. If Tricia Penrose just looked like she was enjoying Celebrity Fame Academy instead of just slugging through it to get more famous - all the while looking slightly disgusted that people aren't actually throwing themselves at her feet all the time - maybe she'd have a better shot.
