Everyone In Lost Named Entertainer Of The Year

Entertainment Weekly has named its list of people that have entertained us the most over the last year, and the winner of Entertainer Of The Year has been named as… the entire cast of Lost.

That’s right - everyone in Lost is the best entertainer of the year. Everyone. Even that screaming Australian girl. Yeah, we were surprised too.

Entertainment Weekly has been busy compiling the traditional end-of-year ‘nothing ever happens this time of year, let’s make a list‘ list of the people that have entertained the world the most in 2005. That’s intentional entertainment, by the way, which is why gaffe-prone attention-seekers like Tom Cruise, Madonna and Paris Hilton aren’t on the list - even if they have entertained us endlessly this year.

Entertainment Weekly lauded the entire cast of Lost (DVDs) as its Entertainer Of The Year, by calling the show "the biggest cult breakout since The X-Files," and burbling fanatically about the second season of Lost - which, frustratingly, British viewers haven’t even seen yet. We started to read what Entertainment Weekly had written, then they started banging on about the contents of the Hatch, so we closed our eyes and shouted "LA LA LA LA," until it went away.

Second in the Entertainment Weekly Entertainer Of The Year list was Steve Carell from The 40-Year-Old Virgin, who is bigged-up because "implausible boobs are Carell’s speciality." Here’s the full list…
