Everyone From Twilight Still Banging On About Rachelle Lefevre
If you’re a Twilight fan, you’ve got an important choice – do you prefer Bryce Dallas Howard or Rachelle Lefevre?
OK, it’s not that important. As far as things that Twilight fans worry about go, who plays Victoria is hardly up there with their chronic incontinence or habit of rocking backwards and forwards while listening to Paramore and sobbing because Robert Pattinson doesn’t even know they exist.
However, some Twilight stars have spoken out about Rachelle Lefevre’s sacking. And by ’spoken out’ we mean ‘diplomatically tiptoed around it because they’ll also get the boot if they say the wrong thing’. Obviously.
It all seemed so simple when Twilight star Rachelle Lefevre was sacked in favour of Bryce Dallas Howard. She’d decided to make another film during Eclipse’s rehearsal time and she got the elbow for it. She couldn’t promise to bulk up like Taylor Lautner did when he was threatened with the sack – because, really, if there’s anything worse than an inconsiderate ginger girl it’s an inconsiderate ginger girl who can beat you in an arm wrestle. There was nothing that Rachelle Lefevre could do.
Except whine incessantly, of course. As soon as Rachelle Lefevre realised that she wouldn’t be appearing in Eclipse she immediately started complaining to the press about her shoddy treatment – and now we hear that she plans to sue Summit, too.
After all, she’s just missed out on what’s probably the biggest payday of her life – the girl’s got to make money somehow, and her inevitable tell-all memoir (probably entitled Crylight or Whylight or My Life As That Ginger Girl From Twilight Who You Didn’t Even Notice Until I Made A Bloody Great Fuss About Being Sacked) and equally inevitable, staggeringly bitter reality TV show won’t fully reimburse the money she lost. So good for her.
However, Rachelle Lefevre’s sacking does put the other Twilight castmembers in a tricky situation, especially since it coincided with TwiCon – the genuinely nightmarish-sounding Twilight convention in Dallas that we imagine is just like a Star Trek convention except shriller, more prone to wanton urination and about 400 times less agreeable. Would the Twilight stars publicly side with Rachelle Lefevre or agree with Summit? Would they welcome Bryce Dallas Howard or treat her appointment with suspicion?
Or would they just tread a rubbishy middle ground that involved talking for great stretches of time without actually saying anything? Well, MTV, which one is it?
“I can say that I’m saddened that the dates didn’t work out,” [Peter Facinelli] explained. “I love [Lefevre] like a sister; it deeply saddens me,” he added. “But you know, the show must go on. We’re going to embrace Bryce Dallas Howard — and I hope that the fans do, too.”
Oh. It was the last one. But still, good for Peter Facinelli for putting the record straight. It’s a shame that Robert Pattinson couldn’t also reveal what he thought about this mess, but then again he doesn’t really need to – he probably thought “Mmm, oh yeah, look at me, I’m Robert Pattinson. God, I’m so sexy. Oh yeah, sexy Robert Pattinson, that’s me. Uh uh uh uh UH!”
Because, you know, that’s probably what he thinks about everything, isn’t it?

Wow you’ve really got an attitude!!!
No one has ever said Rob Pattison is an egomaniac or anything other than he is very nice and quite humble and you just spew this stuff out! For shame.
Rachelle should indeed be in the film as this is HER role and she is great in it and I doubt most folks believe a word from Summit as they tried to dump Taylor too…they learned from that and dumped Rachelle before the fans could be outraged…this WILL impact the earnings on this movie…at least fom me.
That’s ashame that you really do not know the actors involved with Twilight before you write a comment like it’s fact. If you did you would know that your comment about Robert Pattinson is pure B.S. That’s not his style. That might be typical of your regular Hollywood type egotistical prima donna but that is NOT who he is and just one of many reasons why he is so adored by his fans. Why don’t you study character analysis. It might help put some honesty into your work. People aren’t stupid. Don’t insult us.
Actually, if that post insulted you, then you are pretty stupid. Next whiney point?
OMG!!!!!!!!!1 I can see that the TWITLIghters (ROFLOFL!!!!!!1 are) all ready out in about this website which I should warn you is actually the proprety of Stuart Heritage who and he has done more for an internet that any of you vampires who will write on here and call him a name. well listen all you hatters who are downing on him he has evenly right to comment of Robert Pattason and who ever else he wants to (comment of) so before you start puking your bile allover Stuart Heritage stop back and think how much that might hurt him (puking your bile allover Stuart Heritage)
OK first of all, half the stuff u said made no sense. I’m a twihard, but i still can take a joke. I like Bryce she’s a good actress. It’s stupid to change Victoria in the middle of the films but that’s Hollywood.
and second of all dude get a life! Everyone’s joking about twilighter’s and rob pattinson, but ur obsessing over Stuart Heritage. No one’s puking bile, their just stating their opinions.
lol
Summit just shows that they are being disloyal to the fans by this action. It does not make any consistent story to replace Rachelle with Dallas. Rachelle is already in Twilight and New Moon to replace her in Eclipse? I think Rachelle have the right to sue because it about money. I believe that Twilight Saga should be consistent in they Characters that already developed.
I agree with twihards that Rachelle should not have been sacked, I mean its going to look totally weird having a different woman in the series half way through. I’m really surprised that summit would do this when its bound to bring them bad press.
Btw Rob does not think hes this and that, as its been said hes humble and anyone who says otherwise is just making assumptions baised on other famous people’s behaviour and not his.
Wow….clearly you are ignorant. I am not a Twi-hard fan at all, but I do know Rachelle and she is anything BUT a whiner and a complainer. She has every right and reason to speak up. In fact, she did so in a very articulate manner….I would have been infuriated. Rachelle is a kind and generous person who has been genuine, loyal to her fans and hard working. She has done great things with her fame. For example raising/donating money for breast cancer research. She also just opened her e-bay charity store to raise funds for School On Wheels, a charity that provides educational opportunities to homeless kids in Southern California.
It is obvious that she has done great things for the Twilight franchise and for those less fortunate. Although she has every reason to fight for the money that she would otherwise have been payed, she is not the money grubbing person that you make her out to be. Furthermore, it is very possible that Summit is in breach of contract. I guess time will tell….let the court decide but in the meantime don’t be such an ass. I’m so glad that my career does not revolve around putting people down to gain publicity in order to further promote myself.
Wow, author is really bitter guy… I would say it’s very unethical to publish such a BS about Rob who proved a long ago that he is really down to earth, nice, humble guy who is really suffering from all this mad mad attention and sometimes assaults he is receiving and whose only fault was to accept thiss role. Very sad, that’s why the author will always remain -well – just pathetic d-lister publishing full of venom article which too embarassing for him to read – don’t reveal yourself so obviously.
Oh. My. God. That’s right, Ellen, your post was so irritating that it made me type out the WHOLE PHRASE and not just the OMG! it deserved.
Try reading the article again without your rose-tinted R-Pattz obsessive specs, then have a glance through the other articles on this site, then procure yourself a sense of humour from somewhere and GET A GRIP.
People, calm down and look at the top of the webpage. “Heckler Spray” Definition of heckler = Agent noun of heckle; one who heckles; somebody who insults, makes fun of, or teases.
You’ll find this type of tripe all over the web. Don’t buy into it.
After all this isn’t exactly the New York Times people!
Twilight fans give me the creeps. Right ol’ mental bunch.
Twilight fans are either really dense or really easy to wind up.
Good work – keep it up, Heritage!
Hey, guys, he’s just having fun! I’m sure Rob laughs about this stuff. He doesn’t take himself as seriously as we do.
Having I think it sucks that Rachelle got the boot. Don’t get me wrong, Bryce is an excellent actress, but she won’t have the same interpretation of the character as Rachelle. We’ll have a new Victoria to learn to love (or hate). BUT . . . Rachelle knew well ahead of time when the rehearsal & filming schedule would be. She should have not made the commitment that would interfer. Rob & Kristen had other projects going on too, but those were completed in time for Eclipse. Rachelle made her choice. She committed carrer suicide by signing up for that other project. This is the shining point of Victoria’s character. As quickly as Summit needs to get these project out, they have 10 days to f**k around.
