Tonight is the big night, Eurovision fans. And the questions on all of Europe’s lips are:

Who will win?

Who will dress in the most ludicrous costume?

Who will get blind drunk the second they are finished and be visibly very angry when country after country refuse to give them any votes?

There’s only one way to find out – by tuning in at 8pm GMT tonight.

But for now, let’s look at the last two countries. The Ukraine and The United Kingdom

(PS – we’re working on the assumption that UK entry Javine gets over the throat problem that is threatening her chance to perform)

Ukraine (pop. 47,732,079; a republic in eastern Europe)
The Ukraine will be betting on Eurovision glory with Greenjolly, three big fat crusty revolutionaries. But actually successful revolutionaries. Their songs soundtracked the Orange revolution in the country at the end of last year. Their song is called Razom Nas Bahato (Together We Are Many). "Truth be the weapon! We ain’t scared of guns!", they sing. We’re scared of guns. We’d be rubbish revolutionaries. Current odds – 209/1

United Kingdom (pop. 59,553,800; a country in western Europe)
Singing for the United Kingdom this year is Javine, a failed Popstars: The Rivals singer who was also in the musical version of The Lion King.

Her song is Touch My Fire, a song which has safety officers shaking their heads with disappointment. Javine also had a Janet Jackson nipple incident, but that’s another story. "My crazy rhythm’s gonna knock you off your feet", she sings. Terrifying, we’re sure.

Current odds – 47/1

And that’s the end of the line-up. 39 countries, 39 songs, 39 potential bets. Is Javine going to win? Will it be the Greek favourite? Check the full Eurovision odds on the Special Bets section of Betfair.com for the latest, and get betting.

hecklerspray already has. Ukraine is our longest of long shots, and we’ve put the serious money on Norway ("nuts") and Switzerland ("Vanilla Ninja?!").

So on that basis, Greece will win.

Open your Betfair account now and happy punting!
