MonacoIt’s day 11 of the hecklerspray and Betfair.com coverage of the Eurovison Song Contest coverage.

The event is only one week away - you only have seven days to learn the name of every Eurovision song every so you can impress your mates. Here’s a selection to start you off: Tom Tom Tom, Pump Pump, Reggae OK, Boom Boom Boomerang, Piano Piano, Didai Didai Dai and We Will Be Free (Lonely Symphony).

Today we’ll be intruding upon Moldova and Monaco

Moldova (pop. 4,431,570; a landlocked country in Eastern Europe)
The Eurovison entrants for Moldova are ZDOB [shi] ZDUB, a group of scruffy noisemakers who have opened concerts for The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rage Against The Machine and Boney M. Their song is entitled Boonika Bate Doba (Grandmamma Beats The Drum-a), and is a stream of nonsense like we’ve never heard. "Who is the gypsy Hendrix? She don’t care". They don’t stand a chance, sadly. Current odds - 89/1

Monaco (pop. 31,824; a city state and the second smallest country in the world)
The representative for Monaco at Eurovision will be Lise Darly, a charming but bland young lady, who will sing a "mid-tempo symphonic love song" called Tout de Moi (All Of Me), where she begs a man to go out with her, using the power of weirdness. "If the Gods are against us, then I would be a wizard", she sings. Because men love wizards, right? Current odds - 459/1
