Eurovision Odds - Ireland and Israel
Then buzz it up

It’s the eighth day of the hecklerspray and Betfair.com Eurovision Song Contest listings!
This year, the contest will be held in the Ukraine, home of that man who got poisoned until his face looked like a bowl of Rice Krispies. They use the metric system, and they just love their electricity in 220 volts AC, 50 Hz. Those crazy cats!
Today, we’ll be looking at two more countries, Ireland and Israel.
Ireland (pop. approx 5.7 million; the third larhest island in Europe)
The singers for Ireland will be Donna and Joseph McCaul, a brother and sister combo resembling two human fetuses dressed up in tiny clothes. Their song is Love?, a song about topographic soil samples found in Equador 13 years ago. Just kidding. It’s about love, and contains the word "love" 41 times. It goes "Love can make you happy". Thanks, professors. Current odds - 79/1
Israel (pop. 6,876,883; a country in the Middle East on the eastern edge of the Mediterranean sea)
The entrant for Israel is Shiri Maimon, a pouting blonde girl who apparently wanted to be a singer before she knew what a singer was. We’re not entirely sure how that works, to be honest. Her song is called Hasheket Shenishshar (The Silence That Remains), a song that sounds awfully like it’s about keeping a dead boyfriend in your bed. "You’re cold", the creepy girl sings. Current odds - 119/1
That’s it for another day. The odds in the full list are changing all the time, so head over to Betfair.com to see how your favourite is doing, and to stick some money down. Tomorrow we’re looking at Latvia and Lithuania. You lucky dogs.

you can never count out those Israelis. I Ythink we remember Sarit Hadad from a few years ago. I can’t stand the song, but she won.

Are any of you guys into this? I might sign up for the free dosh.
How do you hedge your bets on Betfair? The odds change in real time, right, or is it delayed?
When’s it on?
