But prosthetics and irony are so 2006, which is why this year Finland has entered TerŠsbetoni into Eurovision - a maskless heavy metal group who are rather fond of sincere photoshoots that involve them all standing around with their tops off. TerŠsbetoni’s official Eurovision biography ends with the line “A warrior’s mind is unbreakable!” for god’s sake. And TerŠsbetoni’s Eurovision song MissŠ Miehet Ratsastaa is just ridiculous - one verse honestly goes “May before us be destruction and behind us be the glow of love/ Man has his duty to remember his courage.” But you know what?
