Eurovision Betting Odds: Poland & Portugal

The 2006 Eurovision Song Contest is just days away now, and things are shaping up nicely. The dresses are appropriately tacky, the hosts are traditionally wooden and Terry Wogan is growling insults into a mirror as we speak.

So far, the details on each Eurovision routine haven't been disclosed. We know that the UK is doing that stupid schoolgirl dance, and we'd expect that - as usual - the girl who takes the most clothes off will win the contest. And we wouldn't want it any other way.

Portugal (pop. 10,566,212; a democratic republic located on the west and southwest parts of the Iberian Peninsula) Nonstop, Coisas De Nada. Nonstop are the Portuguese Girls Aloud, or - to be more accurate - the Portuguese Femminem. They won a Popstars-style TV talent show, and their biggest claim to fame is that their second album is still on sale! Coisas De Nada (Make You Dance) is an uptempo number with frightening shouty lyrics. "Don't say a word! Don't spoil the evening with foolish things!" they bellow.
