Eurovision Betting Odds: Gisela, Andorra
It’s day two of our gigantic Eurovision betting odds rundown of the year, and hopefully you’re making yourselves comfortable for the long-haul by now.
This year’s Eurovision Song Contest has so many entries that there are going to be two separate semi-finals. And with so many eliminations lined up before the show itself, this could be the only chance you get to hear a lot of the songs at all. But don’t be sad, because they’re all wonderful.*
Here are the Eurovision betting odds for Andorra, with help from Paddy Power…
*This may not be strictly true.
Andorra – (pop. 70,787; a small landlocked country that is also a principality in southwestern Europe): Gisela, Casanova
We’ve always thought that not enough Eurovision entries sound like they should be on an advert for a mid-priced range of diet products, but our pleas have been answered and it’s all thanks to Casanova by Gisela. Possibly the most homosexual thing we’ve ever heard, Casanova is all pumping high-energy beats a wilful determination to ignore the fact that the word ‘you’ doesn’t rhyme with the word ‘you’ because it’s the same bloody word. The fact that Andorra chose a Spanish singer for Eurovision this year might have caused a few ripples of disquiet, not because it’s a vote of no confidence about native singers, but because Spanish people all like crap music. Without wanting to ruin the surprise for you, about 98% of all the Eurovision entries this year sound identical to Casanova by Gisela, so it doesn’t really stand a chance of standing out from the crowd all that much. That is unless Gisela takes all her clothes off after the middle eight. She looks a little bit dirty, though, so let’s not rule that out just yet. Current Eurovision betting odds – 40/1

I want to be the first to leave a strange Eurovision comment on this thread.
I want to be the first to leave a non-useless comment on this thread. Sadly, self-referential meta bullshit went out with bellbottoms again.
Ooh, picky.
