Eurovision betting odds dervish drop instrumentWe're well into the second week of our warm-up Eurovision betting odds, although why we're doing a warm-up is anyone's guess - by the time we've staggered hopelessly to the end of our proper month-long Eurovision betting odds run, you'll be sick of it all.

But that's something to worry about then, not now. Now we've got more special Eurovision betting odds for you - that's where you can make cash from all kinds of dumbly superfluous Eurovision claptrap. Today is a bit of a once in a lifetime event, because we're giving you the chance to make money from guessing the ability of an Irish man to hold a fucking accordion in his hands for three minutes. It doesn't get any better than this, kids.

So here are the Eurovision betting odds for a member of Dervish to drop their instrument during their performance with help from Paddy Power

A member of Dervish to drop their instrument during their performance - Now this is just an unsettlingly weird market to bet on. You'll remember we discussed Dervish last week - they're the painfully traditional Irish Eurovision entry who make Dana sound like Goatwhore - and now it's time to look at them again. Not for their music, though, or their Eurovision song choice, or even their potential popularity with Eurovision voters. No - what we're looking at today is the ability of Dervish to hold onto their instruments for a full three and a half minutes without one of them dropping theirs on the floor midway through their song. And, give us some credit, we've done some actual research here.

The weak link seems to be Dervish's penny whistle player; just by itself, the penny whistle is an instrument so dangerously slender that it could easily slip through the fingers of a musician with unusually clammy hands - a fact that the whistle player has scant regard for, since he seems determined to increase the likelihood of a Dervish instrument-drop by wobbling his head as he plays. With daredevils like this on their side, no wonder the betting odds for a Dervish instrument drop seem so short. Current Eurovision betting odds - 10/1

Tomorrow - Terry Wogan fired? But if that's too long to wait - or you feel like making more money than you know what to do with - head right over to the Paddy Power Eurovision betting odds page to see the latest, and best, betting odds.
