Eurovision 2009: Intars Busulis, Latvia
Here comes another Eurovision 2009 profile. Excitement.
We know we’re a few days away, here, but we really have to give you a heads up about the Norwegian Eurovision entry this year. He is quite possibly the worst child in all the world. That’s all we’re willing to point out at the moment, but just remember that. Norway. Worst child in all the world. Remember.
But for now, here’s the Eurovision 2009 rundown for Intars Busulis from Latvia…
Latvia · Intars Busulis, Probka
Oh Latvia. You disgust us. You’ve always got to be teacher’s pet, haven’t you? Not content with having – or so we’ve heard – the most blank-eyed strippers in the world, you’re also gunning for Eurovision in the most revoltingly brown-nosed way possible. That’s right readers, Probka by Intars Busulis is sung entirely in Russian. Not Latvian. Or English like everyone else. Russian. Nobody likes a try-hard, Latvia. But, that aside, what’s Probka by Intars Busulis actually like? Well, it’s probably the most impenetrable entry we’ve seen so far, if that’s any consolation. Apparently it’s about being a bit ticked off by traffic congestion – something that, judging by the look on the singer’s face in the video above, causes Latvians so much stress they end up bleeding out of their eyes. Bewildering.
