HatcherThe
2005 Emmy Awards are due to take place on September 18th. And we’re here to help you get rich by betting on the results.

Today we’re concluding our look at the Best Comedy Actress category. This is pretty much the Desperate Houswives edition of the Emmy betting odds – all the housewives except for walking cameltoe Eva Longoria are up for the award. Not only that, they’re the three favourites to win.

So let’s take a look the remainder of the Best Comedy Actress nominees, with a spot of help from Betfair.com

Felicity Huffman. Felicity plays Lynette in Desperate Housewives.
We’ll get this out of the way at the start – is Desperate Housewives a
comedy
? We know it doesn’t make us laugh, but neither does Everybody
Loves Raymond
, and that’s a comedy. We were under the impression that
Desperate Housewives was a drama. Anyway, Felicity is the blond one.
According to a quiz, if hecklerspray was a Desperate Housewife, it’d be Lynette. Although we’re not sure what that means. Full marks
for being married to William H Macy, though. Current odds – 23/4

Marcia Cross – Marcia plays Bree in Desperate Housewives. Possibly
our favourite actress to be named after cheese, Bree is the ginger one. The character always tries to be perfect, even though her husband’s
dead. Outside of the show, Marcia is most famous for absolutely not
being a lesbian at all
. Full marks for being in a movie with Johnny
Cash
, though. Current odds – 25/8

Teri Hatcher – Teri plays Susan in Desperate Housewives. Easily the
favourite to win this award, Teri Hatcher – kind of the Sarah Jessica Parker of the show – has already won a Golden
Globe, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Television Critics
Award
for her role in Desperate Housewives. She’s writing a book about what a struggle
it is to be a millionaire actress. Full marks for staggering around
like a concussed soldier
in that Elton John video. Current odds – 7/8

And in case you missed yesterday’s instalment, the odds for the other nominees in this category are as follows:

Patricia Heaton – 33/4

Jane Kaczmarek – 6/1

Tomorrow we’ll begin to look at the Best Comedy Series nominees. In the mean time, head over to the General Special Bets section of
