Elton John Is £27 Million In Debt
Then buzz it up

Elton John is really good at one thing, apart from flouncing around like he’s Johnny Big Potatoes. And that’s spending money like he’d die of anthrax if he stopped.
It’s hard to fault some of the things he wants to spend his cash on - he is, after all, Britain’s biggest giver to charity. £55 million of his money has gone to good causes over the years.
Some of his choices, though, raise a few eyebrows. He likes flowers, so he once splashed £300,000 of his wad all over a florist. Filthy little man.
So the news that his company is £27 million overdrawn doesn’t really come as a surprise.
"I have a flair for writing songs but I don’t have a flair for business", he has said. No, really?
On the plus side, the overdraft doesn’t really mean much if he keeps working. But it means that he’ll probably make loads more of those rubbish phone adverts to get some moolah back…
