Eddie Murphy Engaged To Woman He Hasn’t Even Knocked Up
Eddie Murphy may have a tattoo of Scary Spice located somewhere on his body, and he may have fathered Scary Spice's baby, but when it comes to getting engaged, Eddie Murphy's rule is to find someone who most definitely isn't Scary Spice at all.
Eddie Murphy, you see, has just got engaged to Tracey Edmonds – the woman who he apparently called his girlfriend long before he properly split up with Mel B. And history dictates that, now they're engaged, Eddie Murphy will quickly knock Tracey Edmonds up, leave her and then question if he even fathered the baby in the first place, leaving Edmonds trying to juggle being a single mother with being part of the reformed Spice Girls. And so it is written.
Despite earning the bulk of his money from making donkey noises and dressing up as fat women, Eddie Murphy is quite the catch. He's such a catch, in fact, that he's managed to find a woman who doesn't appear to mind the shitty way that he treated Scary Spice Mel B last year. That might because Eddie Murphy found her while he was treating Mel B in a shitty way, of course, but that's all just speculation.
Possibly deciding that the whole 'instant tattoo' thing or the 'instant knocking up' thing was taking things a little too fast, Eddie Murphy has instead just decided to get engaged to Tracey Edmonds, his girlfriend of about three nanoseconds. MSNBC reports:
Eddie Murphy is engaged. The star of such films as “Norbit” and “Dreamgirls” proposed to his girlfriend Tracey Edmonds according to OK! magazine. Murphy began dating Edmonds, the ex-wife of music producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, 10 months ago, following a relationship with Spice Girl Mel B, with whom he fathered a baby girl. OK! reports that Murphy proposed to Tracey with a Cartier yellow diamond ring weighing around 8 carats.
At least just getting engaged to Tracey Edmonds shows that Eddie Murphy is learning to take things a little more easily. After all, when Eddie Murphy gets struck by a whim and decides to tell all of Holland that he's split up with Edmonds, all he needs to say is "the wedding's off" instead of questioning the fatherhood of her unborn baby, which is slightly more undignified, we'll admit.
And, anyway, now isn't the time for that. We've sneaked a look at Eddie Murphy's schedule – he doesn't plan to get Tracy Edmonds pregnant and then immediately leave her until next Tuesday. It'd be sooner, but on Monday Eddie Murphy's going to be busy shaving Tracy's name into his hair and tattooing a picture of her face under both of his eyelids while writing a song called I Love Tracey Forever.
