It’s a particularly rockin’ week here at hecklerspray, as we dole out six bone-rattling tracks that’ll make you want to jump up and down, side to side, and then go to bed because you’re exhausted from too much movement.
This week featuring tracks from The Warlocks, The Charlatans, Starflyer 59, The Pale Pacific, Blackalicious, and Oasis. Not a sissy song in the bunch – but you have to trust us to find out for sure. Before you can track them down, you’ll have to see what they are…go ahead – click Continue Reading, click Continue Reading, click Continue Reading, click Continue Reading, click Continue Reading, click Continue Reading, click Continue Reading, click Continue Reading…
The Warlocks: It’s Just Like Surgery from Surgery
(It’s
a great song, but we’re still hesitant to let them cut us open and swab
our intestines – even though their lyrics make them sound like they’d
be quite proficient at it.)
The Pale Pacific: Identity Theft from Urgency
(A new hecklerspray discovery gracefully given to us by Pandora.com. That may be the second best website of all time. This particular track let’s us all know white collar crime can be socially acceptable.)
Oasis: Eyeball Tickler from the Lyla single
(Think you know Oasis? You don’t know Oasis. This is the loudest they’ve been in years. It’s beautiful.)
The Charlatans: Just When You’re Thinking Things Over from Melting Pot
(That crazy 90′s sound should never have ended, and with the recent advent of time travel – it never will.)
Starflyer 59: Underneath from Old
(A
terrific album from an underrated band. They rock the hell out of you
then drag you to heaven – just like it probably says in their mission
statement.)
Blackalicious: Powers from The Craft
(We found these guys when we were scouring Vegoose for bands to bring you. They were on an A.D.A Fall 2005 Sampler that we swear we saw fall straight out of a cloud.)
