sleepy jacksonHey kids, here's some music you should love instantly – because we want you to so badly.  As always – your method of musical attainment is up to you. Just find them, listen to them, and see if your circle of friends doesn't increase exponentially.

This week featuring tracks from Men Without Hats, Doves, Chikinki, Saint Etienne, Spacehog and The Sleepy Jackson.

Men Without Hats: Pop Goes The World off Pop Goes The World
(Back in the day, we're not so sure this ever took off as much as it should have. It reminds hecklerspray of pleasant days gone by, and makes us feel so good we wish we weren't writing this from a substandard Turkish prison. With internet access.)

Doves: Black And White Town off Some Cities
(Who doesn't like Doves? If you raised your hand, it's because you either haven't heard them or you're a mongoloid. This track is off their third album, and has great piano and drums – those are two exotic musical instruments we're told.)

Chikinki: All Eyes off Lick Your Ticket
(Electronica ain't all bad, so says we. This track's off an album with a supercool name, from a band with an unpronounceable one. It sounds pretty unique.)

Saint Etienne: Side Streets off Tales From Turnpike House
(This one sounds like you were dropped in the middle of France, but you don't have to wonder what you did to offend God because you like it this time. They're actually a British band, if our source is to be believed, and they've been around since the late 80s. It's an extremely laid back number.)

Spacehog: In the Meantime off Resident Alien
(Possibly the greatest song intro of all time. Spacehog got a deal after playing only a few gigs, cranked out this hit, and then disappeared to a life of boinking Liv Tyler well within the confines of holy matrimony. Believe it or not the exact same thing once happened to us.)

The Sleepy Jackson: Tell The Girls That I'm not Hangin Out off Lovers
(This song mystically appeared on our iPod. We have no idea how it got there, or who put it on, but we're sure glad they did. All we know is about The Sleepy Jackson is they're a bunch of talented Aussies named after a narcoleptic drummer. Now that's a sales pitch.)

Now listen to these beautiful choices via the magic of Napster
