Primal Scream Dynamite DownloadsMusic is a lady. She's a fine lady, who dines with kings, and then marries them and later has to worry about being beheaded when the king seems to be growing too fond of that slut lady-literature. Seriously - reading? What the crap, king?!

Well hecklerspray's heart is taken. We find ourselves quite infatuated with sweet lady-music and her now stumpy scab-covered neck. That's why this week we've brought you some hard rocking tracks from Primal Scream, Low, Guided By Voices, Local H, Marcy Playground, and Hundred Reasons.

May the music swell within you.

Primal Scream
: Shoot Speed/Kill Light off Xtrmntr
(Sure, thse guys hte excssive vowl usge, bt thn so do we. We hte all tht I bfore E crap, & how Q's bcome so dpendnt on U.  wht th hll?! Grw a spine Q! Hey Y, whse sde you on? Yu look lke an upsd dwn prsttute! Wht r yu lookng at cnsonants? Yu thnk yor sfe? Egyptians ddn't nd yu, we dn't nd yu ethr. ¥¨ˆøøπ ∂ßœ.  ¥†∑ Cleopatra ∂π‘æ∫√! •ªºµ¥©Ë™-√´†? ç.)

Marcy Playground: Never off Shapeshifter
(A fine band with far less credit than they deserve. These guys have put out three albums thus far, and all three have been on our high-rotation at one time or another. Just for a little band trivia - these guys once studied at the feet of Mother Theresa for 12 years. When they were finished, they went over and taught some of the stuff to Ghandi. Yeah. Good guys.)

Guided By Voices: To Remake The Young Flyer off Human Amusements At Hourly Rates
(Our favourite part of Guided By Voices is that their songs are always so short. This one, for instance, clocks in at 1:46, which is perfect for our 1:37 attention span. What they do is take that short time and jam pack it with music and what-not.  Strange that nobody else ever thought of that. This song in particular is a good one.)

Low: California off The Great Destroyer
(This may be the best tune off Low's 2005 album, and we were quite surprised to find we hadn't recommended it long ago. A lot of people don't know this, but Low once saved an entire school bus of children from being eaten by a gaggle of fat alligators by hiding them in the cage of a love-starved spider-monkey. The new predicament, we've heard they later said, was a situation far to sticky to save them from. Seriously, they didn't have any wet-naps.)

Hundred Reasons: The Perfect Gift off Kill Your Own
(We're pretty sure that this particular track was a referral from ourselves. It's a rocking tune, more rocking than most. And if you're worried about the frilly sounding track name being a little too much like something you'd hear played over a JC Penny PA system whilst browsing on a Mother's Day, look over to the album title. Yeah, that's freaking tough alright. Killing stuff is awesome, but we must not abuse this privilege.)

Local H: Bound for the Floor off As Good As Dead
(Here's a nineties classic that still sounds new, and it's got another particularly tough sounding album title. Now don't get us wrong, we still effing hate consonants, and that H hanging out there so openly is a bit distracting and anger inducing, but it doesn't detract from the song. It's totally crunchy, dudes.)

Now listen to these beautiful choices via the magic of Napster
