Downright Dynamite Downloads Of The Week - Pavement, Tortoise, Rogue Wave
Then buzz it up

hecklerspray’s weekly musical recommends - straight out of Big Ben’s basement - that you should track down and download now. Why? Because you need educating, dammit:
Pavement: Westing (by Musket And Sextant): Heckler Spray (It’s our namesake, so it’s only fitting it be our first recommend)
Tortoise and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy: The Brave and the Bold: The Calvary Cross (These next guys know how to establish a mean groove)
Rogue Wave: Descended Like Vultures: Love’s Lost Guarantee (What we really like here are the "Da Da Dada’s " that kick in at 3:47)
…And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead: Worlds Apart: All White (A track off the most rocking album of 2005. It reminds us a little of Pink Floyd)
The Apples In Stereo: The Discovery Of A World Inside The Moone: The Bird That You Can’t See (White boy funk the way it always should be)
The Dandy Warhols: Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia: Mohammed (At the moment, we believe the Warhols may just be the coolest band ever)
Any tracks you’d like to add? Use the comments down yonder.
