dynamite downloads troggsThe radio can't help you. Neither can MTV or VH1. The only one that can help you is hecklerspray, and we don't take that duty lightly. The following is a bunch of great songs that everyone should have. They'll improve your health, shine your hair, and put a little extra lustre in your sham of a marriage. We'll tell you what music we find addicting, you track it down however, and see if you don't agree.

This week featuring tunes from Beck, The Troggs, The Long Winters, Looking Glass, Donovan, and OK Go.

Beck: Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime off Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
(This album is a soundtrack, and the song is a cover from a band called The Korgis. It's a little more moody than the original. It's probably a great song for after you've just been dumped, but we wouldn't know, as we've completely self-destructed in every single relationship we've ever had.)

The Troggs: Love Is All Around off Time Life Music Classic Rock
(This song is like a screen saver in our head. If nothing else is going on up there, which happens all the time since the accident, this pops in. It's got one of the best choruses ever, and we've heard that when played backwards it's got a terrific chocolate cheesecake recipe.)

The Long Winters
: Ultimatum off Ultimatum
(This one's got deep lyrics and a good sense of tune, The Long Winters are a good band to grow attached to. It's rumoured that the lead singer here used to be in the one hit wonder band Harvey Danger - remember Flagpole Sitta? Us too, and with fondness.)

Looking Glass: Brandy (You're a Fine Girl) off Looking Glass
(70's songs about sailors who can't commit to women because they're too in love with the ocean are all too rare. This is Looking Glass' one big hit, and it deserved all the attention it brought them back in the day.)

Donovan: Barabajagal off Troubadour
(This is a groovy number with more vocal noises than lyrics. That's cool by us, as we can't read. Too long of lyric pages go right in the trash.)

OK Go: The House Wins off Oh No
(We bought their first album because we were dazzled by it's many colours. This track is off their second album, which we bought because we felt so affectionate towards their first one - and we love it too. Why OK Go aren't way more famous and radio plastered is
beyond us. It's pop rock for the masses, if only the masses knew they needed it.)
