DMX Faces Jail Because He Can’t Drive A Car Very Well
Forget rappers and guns – the real trouble happens when you mix rappers with cars.
Just days after Cam’ron got shot in the arms during a botched carjacking episode in Washington, DMX has pleaded guilty to violating a plea deal made after a car crash last year. He now faces 60 days in jail.
In December, DMX (CDs) – performer of wholesome family ditties such as
Fuck Y’All, We Don’t Give A Fuck and bran-based advice song Keep Your Shit The
Hardest – crashed his car into a gate at a New York airport then told a
parking attendant that he was in the FBI. It also turns out that he had taken some
Valium. He pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment, and was given a
conditional discharge.
A week later DMX was caught driving is car round at 104mph. Then in April he was involved in a car accident with two other vehicles, one of which was an unmarked police car. All of which meant that DMX was hauled back to court yesterday for violating conditions of his parole.
Richard Brown, an attorney at the latest DMX hearing said yesterday:
"It was my hope that the defendant had learned that he had a
responsibility to obey the law. It is obvious that the lesson was lost on the
defendant."
And, according to the New York Daily News, DMX retaliated as he left the courthouse by saying:
"Stupid ass motherfucker, going to crack his fucking head in."
