DMX Banged Up For Being Rubbish At Cars
Then buzz it up

DMX - everyone's favourite pussy-smelling, loudmouth, pretend FBI, seatbelt-hating rapper - is at it again. Just a week ago, DMX was cited for apparently hiding a gun under the seat of a car while some policemen were watching.
And now DMX is in jail. Not for anything to do with the gun thing, though - he got banged up after annoying a judge by failing to show up in court for a hearing after he was arrested for a string of traffic violations earlier in the month. Still, we're sure that a man as charismatic as DMX will soon get his fellow prisoners onside by repeatedly bellowing his endearingly awful catchphrases of "Whut?" and "Arf Arf Arf Arf" at the top of his voice all through the night.
We've just noticed, but DMX - the only rapper named after 5-Dehydro-m-xylylene, the first known organic molecule to violate Hund's Rule - is sort of like the American Pete Doherty. Both Doherty and DMX are constantly getting in trouble with the law, and both are far more famous for their notoriety rather than their music. And neither are very good at music.
But while Pete Doherty's woes all revolve around him apparently carrying drugs on him all the time, DMX seems to exclusively have trouble with transport. In the past, DMX has got in trouble for driving too fast, indirectly ramming a police car, crashing his car in a carpark and then claiming to be in the FBI, getting stroppy when an air stewardess asked him to do up his seatbelt and hiding a gun under a car seat.
That's not all, though - earlier this month, DMX was cited for driving too fast and making unsafe lane changes with a suspended license. With no seatbelt on. And then, for some reason, DMX didn't bother to turn up to the hearing on Wednesday, leaving Judge Barbara Leak no choice but to sling DMX in prison for a bit on $25,000 bail. It's unknown how long DMX will stay banged up for, but the next scheduled hearing for his driving offenses is on July 24.
Which, our computer tells us, gives DMX the opportunity to get cited for doing dumb things in a car another 62 times before he's due in court again.
