Diddy Wants You To Stay In School, Kids
Then buzz it up

OK kids, let's make this clear - we know how much fun it is to skip school and hang around in playgrounds hoping the slaggy girl from your class with the divorced parents will pull her skirt up, but think again.
Your education is important and you should stay in school. And it's not just your pretend uncles and aunties at hecklerspray that think that, Diddy is also going out of his way to tell you how important school is. Diddy. Used to be called P Diddy or Puff Daddy. He was famous when you were a toddler. Anyone? No?
There was a time when Diddy - screw you Dearlove, he'll always be Diddy to us - was nothing but an irresponsible celebrity. Diddy would ride on aeroplanes just to get struck by lightning, didn't write the autobiography that he was contracted to and cultivated an unusual fear of clowns just to annoy people.
Lately, though, Diddy has felt the need to pass on his wisdom to the people who deserve it - the children. Perhaps this is because Diddy's girlfriend is pregnant with Diddy-twins, or perhaps it's because Diddy has just realised that - as a young wealthy successful black man - Diddy is in a prime position to show kids that they can achieve their dreams, or perhaps it's just because Diddy has a rubbish new single out that he'll only sell by doing a bunch of faux-inspirational publicity stunts, who knows?
But the simple fact is that Diddy stopped by at a high school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to give the kids his very best advice. No, not the 'when your best friend dies, mumble over the top of a Sting record and get famous that way' advice, either. Diddy said:
"This is a really important time for you all right now. This is the time that is going to dictate your future. It's important to know what it takes to achieve your dream. Take responsibility for your future. No excuses!"
Funnily enough, Diddy is the first person to ever have these radical 'school is important' ideas, so those schoolchildren are in a fortunate position indeed. School principle Christopher Johnson said of Diddy's speech:
"We wanted someone whom they would sit down and listen to, someone who comes from the same type of background. To have a superstar come in is extremely powerful."
But, you know, Diddy will do until they find one of those.
