Okay, now that Whitney Houston is dead, we can say all manner of things about her private life because she’s not around to refute accusations. Naturally, we can tag other celebrities into the gossip because they’re needy for attention.
And so, what’s all this about Whitney (dead, unable to defend herself) and Jermaine Jackson (desperate to reflect in the glory of another gigantically huge superstar corpse, again) having an affair?
That’s the story swirling around at the minute and, better yet, it will annoy Berry Gordy, founder of Motown Records. And Bobby Brown lives in a constant state of irritation so nothing will change there.
Apparently,?Jermaine was putting the tip into Whitney in 1984, when sadly for him, he was absolutely married to Hazel Gordy, daughter of impresario and music industry legend, Berry.
It goes without saying that Jermaine has never spoken about this alleged affair and was so full of grief following Whitney’s death last month he was unable to attend her funeral. We assume he would’ve mentioned something at the aforementioned funeral if he did end up attending, what with it being televised.
And to add fuel to this incredibly vague fire, Whitney’s song ‘Saving All My Love For You’ was about a woman having it off with someone who was married to someone else.
THE SONG WAS IN 1985! THE VIDEO HAD A MAN IN IT! JERMAINE JACKSON WAS A MAN TOO! LOOK!
We need to mention Michael Jackson properly. We can’t leave two celebrity cadavers unmilked can we? Apparently, he knew about the affair and didn’t approve.
Not that MJ had an unusual private life which we could’ve all tutted at.
And Jermaine wrote about Whitney in his 2011 book, You are Not Alone: Michael, Through A Brother’s Eyes. He said:
“As much as I wanted to lose myself in all these feelings, I told her to wait. Ultimately, we had to go our separate ways and it killed us both.”
Well, it didn’t killed you, did it Jermaine?
