Mel Gibson has quite the CV. Some of it reads of his films. The rest is a long list of allegations, which number homophobia, anti-semitism, being a drunk, sexual and domestic violence, racism and now, shouting down a phone trying to combine all of the above.

And now, prosecutors are considering whether to bring charges against Mad Mel in connection with the domestic violence investigation concerning his ex, Oksana Grigorieva.

Los Angeles sheriff’s investigators presented their evidence to prosecutors Wednesday afternoon said a spokesperson for the LA District Attorney.

Sandi Gibbons says:

“They brought us one-half of the investigation and that half involved the investigation of Mel Gibson. They are also investigating the actions of Mr. Gibson’s girlfriend. That has not been presented.”

Grigorieva has accused Gibson of hitting her in the face, while Gibson is shrieking hysterically about her attempts to extort him to keep controversial recordings of their arguments secret.

Seeing as we’ve all heard them, we can assume that the negotiations didn’t go particularly well.

These calls were recorded by Grigorieva are “part of the investigation into the alleged domestic violence,” sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said last month.

As such, we’ve all been treated to ringside seats of Gibson and Grigorieva’s bitter child custody dispute over their 8-month-old daughter who will no doubt grow up warped because of all this. No worry, she can always earn her own money the Fishburne family way if she likes.
