Split_fruitThe name of the last Destiny’s Child album was the final-sounding Destiny Fulfilled, and recently they announced that they were to split up. Only now, they’ve decided that they’re not going to split up. Not forever, at least.

Despite going to the lengths of announcing the split on stage and the releasing a statement confirming the split, Destiny’s Child have denied the split, calling it instead "the end of a chapter in our lives".

Before Destiny Fulfilled was released, all of the members of
Destiny’s Child (CDs) went on to release solo material. Beyonce conquered the
word - and rescued an otherwise useless album - with Crazy In Love.
Kelly Rowland did a song with "this band aid on my face is for my
incarcerated homies, not to cover up a big zit"
rapper Nelly. Michelle
Williams
starred in a Broadway musical.

When their current McDonalds-sponsored tour is over, it’s likely they’ll all go on to continue their solo inroads. But why the sudden denial of a permanent split?

The group tell us over and over again how much they love each other,
so there’s a chance that they’ll become so miserable away from each
other that a reunion will be inevitable.

Or according to Beyonce, "Maybe we could do a play together; we’ve talked about that."

Or maybe this announcement is a clever ploy to wait a few years
until someone offers them dumb amounts of money to reunite. They let a giant burger chain pay for their tour, so we can’t discount cynical marketing schemes.

And if none of those things happen, there’s always Hit Me Baby One More Time
