Desperate Housewives Actor Sacked

Digg this!

Page_kennedy_desperate_housewives_sackedAll that ever happens in Desperate Housewives is this: Lois Lane, a ginger woman and her off the shampoo advert all div around being slightly nasty to each other.

But now something genuinely exciting – for once – has happened on Desperate Housewives. Page Kennedy, an actor on the show, has been sacked for "improper conduct."

UK viewers won’t know who Page Kennedy is yet – he’s only been in
the second, less watched, less liked series of Desperate Housewives (DVDs). He
plays Caleb in the show, a mysterious character who is locked in a
basement. He might be someone’s husband, he might be someone’s son. We
don’t actually care, and you shouldn’t either.

But something that Page Kennedy has done has resulted in him getting sacked. Typically, the Desperate Housewives people are keeping quiet about
the exact nature of Kennedy’s wrongdoings, but they have mentioned
"improper conduct," and added that his sacking had come after a "thorough
investigation,"
by Disney Touchstone pictures. An anonymous source has
apparently told Associated Press that the improper conduct did not
involve any other cast members.

We do know that, in time-honoured, Lucy Robinson tradition, Page
Kennedy’s character Caleb will continue to play a part in Desperate
Housewives
, but he’ll be recast, hopefully by an albino dwarf or – we
hope – an aloof goat in a top hat and a monocle.

Page Kennedy, meanwhile, is yet to make a statement about his
sacking, so it’s unclear what his next  career move will be – he
reportedly turned down roles in three other shows to appear in
Desperate Housewives. Whether or not he’ll still be as sought-after
following his sacking remains to be seen.
