This is our last Dancing On Ice post of the week, so enjoy it. There won’t be any more until, oh God, Monday.
So what can we look forward to on Sunday’s show? Well, as we’re constantly being told, the bar keeps raising week after week. That means that the remaining Dancing On Ice contestants are going to have to toil like never before if they want to achieve the ultimate accomplishment of coming second to Ray Quinn.
Speaking of which, here’s our Dancing On Ice rundown of Ray Quinn…
Ray Quinn – OK, we?ll admit it – all out anti Ray Quinn attacks over these last few weeks have been entirely rooted in jealousy. In fact, we?d even go as far as to say that Ray Quinn is a goo… he's a good ska… he's good at ice skati… no. No. We physically can't do it. We physically can't praise that swivel-eyed little turnip. We don't care that he's been getting amazing scores on Dancing On Ice week after week. He gives us the creeps. Can you imagine Ray Quinn standing at the foot of your bed while you sleep, fingering a knife and crying? Because we bloody can. But, that aside, Ray Quinn is very good at Dancing On Ice. On Sunday he performed a routine to Rock Around The Clock which was amazing but not quite perfect, probably because he was dressed as a possessed Cliff Richard mannequin at the time. No wonder Ray Quinn looks smug, so would I if could ice dance as well as he can. He might look a bit weird but there’s no denying the boy has talent. He can sing, dance, act and now can add ice-dancing to his resume. Credit where credit is due. Stop being such jealous old tarts!

Ah back off you lot! The lad is only 20. Can nobody here remember what it was like to be 20? I’m sure most of us were insufferable gits (not that I’m saying Ray is – in fact he seems to be a nice chap – but that is by the by). He has talent at singing, dancing, acting and now ice dancing. Good for him, I say!
As Jo says above, if I could ice dance the way he can after only 4 months training, then I would bloody well look smug, and I’d be telling the whole world how brilliant I was! I think he’s being quite restrained all things considered.
We here in the UK really need to stop knocking people that are good at things and actually have talent. It’s no wonder than so many of our stars want to break it in the US, at least they won’t get shot down in flames for being successful!
