Dancing On Ice Betting Odds: Ulrika Booted Off
Then buzz it up

So that's the end of Dancing On Ice for Ulrika Jonsson, then - a mostly miserable attempt to rehibilitate herself within the hearts of the British public that ended up mainly reminding people of all the reasons they didn't like her in the first place.
Ulrika's final Dancing On Ice routine was to Pretty Woman - presumably because there hasn't been a film made yet called Rubbish Slapper - and although she didn't fall over like she did last week, the obvious discomfort and dizziness that she showed during her routine mixed with her constant tantrums and rumours of on-set cattiness in putting the public right off her. Worse still, during the time she spent training for Dancing On Ice, Ulrika could have wooed, shagged and dumped about 50 famous men - and that's time she won't get back.
But who's going to win Dancing On Ice? Here's part one of this week's Dancing On Ice betting odds - for Kay Burley, Stephen Gately, Emily Symons and Lee Sharpe - with betting odds coming to you from Paddy Power…
Kay Burley - Kay Burley spent last week doing two things; 1) interviewing Shilpa Shetty on Sky Three in such an alarmingly toothless way that she may as well have spent 30 minutes licking Shetty's armpit and 2) crying her eyes out because she done a bang bang on her head for Dancing On Ice and now she was scared of everything. However, Kay's nerves didn't translate to her Dancing On Ice routine and - although it genuinely couldn't have been more tentative - she pulled off a semi-decent lift in there too. However, as if to prove how slackjawed the Dancing On Ice audience is, they furiously booed one of the judges for daring to criticise Kay, then didn't vote for her anyway and sent her into the skate-off. With a total score of 18, Kay Burley will need to do better next week or it'll back to shitty reality TV interviews full-time for her. Current Dancing On Ice betting odds - 66/1
Stephen Gately - Week for week on Dancing On Ice, Stephen Gately has consistently been the lousiest ice dancer of them all, often resembling an alcoholic polio victim rather a serious contender. Stephen's Dancing On Ice partner knows how rubbish he is and has resorted to contructing elaborate routines for him that don't actually involve any lifting, dancing or skating at all. Case in point - on Saturday's Dancing On Ice Stephen Gately wiggled around independently of his partner to Staying Alive, almost fell over and then seemed to have a bit of a wrestle with her, all with the facial expression of a toddler on a swing that's going up just a little too high. His score of 16.5 was generous if anything. Current Dancing On Ice betting odds - 33/1
Emily Symons - Emily Symons has a bad case of the Carol Smillies on Dancing On Ice; no matter what she does, she's fated to remain the long-forgotten dancer languishing mid-table. Part of this problem is her skating speed - last week's routine was painfully slow, this week's routine to Be My Baby - for which she received a score of 20 - was painfully slow and we anticipate that her Dancing On Ice routine next week to Come To Daddy by Aphex Twin will be painfully slow too. However, Emily Symons is doing her best to speed up - in three weeks of Dancing On Ice she's already shed a stone on weight, and she'll follow that up next week by cutting off her hair, ears and arms just to make her that little bit more aerodynamic. Current Dancing On Ice betting odds - 12/1
Lee Sharpe - OK, we watched Lee Sharpe's Dancing On Ice routine, then we saw the slow motion replay with commentary, then we watched Lee and his Dancing On Ice partner describe their routine and then we saw the judging process, but the whole thing was so thunderingly dull that we can't remember a single thing about it apart from the one-word note we made during it: "Dull". Lee Sharpe may have picked up his Dancing On Ice partner, but we can't really remember how. One of the Dancing On Ice judges told Lee that his routine reminded him of a wake, which is bizarre since all the wakes we've ever been to have featured more glum sniffling and prawn vol-au-vents and not as much twirling round an ice rink to hits from the movies. We also remember that Lee Sharpe got a Dancing On Ice score of 20.5 for the routine, though, which is kind of OK we suppose. Current Dancing On Ice betting odds - 9/1
