Tomorrow sees the start of another harebrained celebrity reality TV show - Dancing On Ice. Yes, it’s just like Strictly Come Dancing, but with more potential for gory finger-slicing.
We’ll come clean and admit that we don’t have a clue what Dancing On Ice will be like, although we know that strangely creepy professional ice-skaters Torvil And Dean will be training up ten celebrities to hilariously slip and slide about to some music, maybe even concussing themselves in the process.
The only other thing that we know about Dancing On Ice is the list of celebrities taking part. And where there’s a list of reality TV contestants, there’s another list of betting odds. So - even though we haven’t even seen any of these celebrities skate, let alone try and dance - we’re still going to give you the preliminary betting odds for each of them to win Dancing On Ice.
Here, then, is the first batch of Dancing On Ice betting odds, with help from SportingOdds.com…
Andi Peters - AKA The Man That Killed Top Of The Pops. Outsider,
although he could be the Colin Jackson of the series - purely because he’s black and a bit effete-looking. Current Dancing
On Ice betting odds - 12/1
Stefan Booth - Not a clue. He’s in The Bill, we think. And he can
play the trumpet. Does this mean he can ice-skate? We’re buggered if we
know. Current Dancing On Ice betting odds - 12/1
Sean Wilson - When some people leave soap operas, they go on to show
real acting talent. When Sean Wilson left Coronation Street, he had
‘dodgy reality TV ice-skating contestant’ written all over him. Current
Dancing On Ice betting odds - 10/1
Bonnie Langford - Dreadful shrieking woman who was famous for about
a week in the 1970s and hasn’t even quite let go. You can buy a Bonnie
Langford keyring on her website for £3.25. And who doesn’t want one of
those? Current Dancing On Ice betting odds - 10/1
Gaynor Faye - We’ve vague recollections of her being on Coronation
Street and Fat Friends, even though she isn’t really that fat. Did she
display any ice-skating prowess on either of those shows? Probably not,
to be honest. Current Dancing On Ice betting odds - 9/1
Kelly Holmes - That’s Dame Kelly Holmes to you, pleb. Kelly was made
a dame for running quite fast in two races, but can she skate very
well? The odds are unsure. Current Dancing On Ice betting odds - 15/2
Tamara Beckwith - Tamara is like a less famous version of Tara
Palmer Tomkinson, if that’s possible. She looks hopeless, but probably
had the kind of privileged upbringing where she had professional
ice dancing lessons every day. Or something. Current Dancing On Ice
betting odds - 13/2
John Barrowman - That bloke from Doctor Who that was given his own
series. Probably couldn’t love himself any more than he already does,
so you just know he’ll be a fancy ice-skater. Current Dancing On Ice
betting odds - 13/2
Andrea McLean - We’ve been informed that Andrea is the weather girl
on GMTV. And that’s all we know about her, expect that she’s looking
good, betting odds-wise. Current Dancing On Ice betting odds - 5/1
David Seaman - What the hell? David Seaman is on Dancing On Ice? And
he’s favourite to win? Excuse us, we must have accidentally stepped
into a parallel universe where big men with crap ponytails and stupid
facial hair have suddenly become really good at ice-skating. Weird.
Although it will be fun seeing just how long it will be before David
Seaman refers to himself as ‘Safe Hands’. Current Dancing On Ice
betting odds - 7/2
Dancing On Ice is on ITV1 tomorrow evening. We’ll be back next
week with more Dancing On Ice betting odds, but don’t forget to wriggle
over to the Specials section of SportingOdds.com at any point to see
how the Dancing On Ice betting odds are shaping up. And don’t forget to
place a bet or two. Good luck!

What a shame when you are talking about ICE DANCING you couldn’t show a pair of ICE SKATES rather a pair of hockey boots, COME ON GET IT RIGHT!

im not sure if this is the right address to send messages about the show but, We just wanted to say, the contestants are getting better by the week and its getting harder to vote as they are all doing so very very well.
We would also like to say, David and pam, its a shame about what happened and that you could not skate this week but we wish pam all the very best and hope for a speedy recovery. Be well.

Heya folks, what’s all this crap about wanting Kelly to win?? Oh, and not to mention the one who wants BONNIE to win!!!! What’s that about, David and Pam should have won, I’m telling you, they were the best, and if it was up to the public in that skate-off, they WOULD have WON! Oh, yeah, Bonnie doesn’t have a good sense of humour, AND she also can’t skate, she just stands back and lets Matt lift her to the top of the scoreboard, the judges need their eyes checked… Oh yeah, you do need to fix that picture of the hockey boots, it’s figure skates that should be there… duh.. For all those fans who miss dancing on ice, you could either buy the DVD or… you could try goin to http://www.itv.com/dancingonice You can see most of the videos there, I’m gonna put in a request for all the videos to be put on it as I missed some of David and Pam’s routines D: I really want to see them.
