Dancing On Ice Betting Odds: Gareth Gates
Then buzz it up

Just a few more days to go until a new episode of Dancing On Ice hurtles round the corner and flings a handful of sharpened sequins into our eyes.
But you know what we've neglected to mention during these Dancing On Ice rundowns so far? The opening Torvill And Dean routines. Despite what you might think, the Torvill And Dean opening numbers - along with the lengthy introductions to the skaters and the judges - isn't just a way to make sure that you can play Guitar Hero for 15 minutes into Dancing On Ice without missing any of the good bits, but it's… um, no, actually that's exactly what it is. Sorry.
Who'll win Dancing On Ice? Here are the Dancing On Ice betting odds for Gareth Gates, with help from Paddy Power…
Gareth Gates - Again, Gareth Gates remains the second-favourite to win Dancing On Ice. Why? We're honestly stumped on this - we can't remember even a second of a single Gareth Gates Dancing On Ice routine, and yet he's in the running to win the sodding thing. That just doesn't make sense, and the longer it goes on, the harder the public will demand to see something really exceptional from Gareth Gates. We didn't get it on Sunday - his Dancing On Ice routine to Sweet Talking Woman was solid rather than exciting - the jump was OK, he looked steady on his feet but nothing really sold the routine to us. Still, why are we even complaining, given that Gareth Gates' fans are berserk enough to all flap giant Gareth Gates heads around in the audience. Forget Dancing on Ice, with supporters as rabid as this, Gareth Gates will probably be the next Prime Minister. SCORE - 23 - Current Dancing On Ice betting odds - 7/2
Tomorrow: Dancing On Ice betting odds for Chris Fountain. But if that's too long to wait - or you feel like making more money than you know what to do with - head right over to the Paddy Power Dancing On Ice betting odds page to see the latest, and best, betting odds.

Gareth has been “solid” with his routines, and is showing improvement week by week. He may not have the dancing skills of Suzanne, or the ice prowess of Chris, but he his skills are improving.
Gareth has been doing lifts with his partner from very early on too, so she must trust him! I think he has done very well (and has probably had extra dance lessons from his very lovely fiance!).
He has done himself proud. It is nice to actually hear him speak, and see his personality now he is overcoming his speech problem.
He could well be the dark house of this competition.

If you don’t remember any of Gareth’s routines, you’re obviously not watching the program to see `Dancing On Ice’ as he and Suzanne are the only ones actually doing that. At least their routines are not a manic charge to see how fast they can get from one end of the rink to the other, with no finesse whatsoever.

Gareth should win Dancing on Ice. He is graceful, skates in unison with Maria, looks great, and is a perfectionist! He is actually doing what is required of him DANCING ON ICE, as Nicky Slater frequently tells us. Gareth has come from not being able to skate, to where he is now in such a short time, but with a lot of hard work. It’s a shame that you are such sour grapes towards him. What has he ever done to you? Perhaps he’s just too tall dark and handsome for you to bear!

I think Gareths performances are very memorable and have been consistently good from week one. Especially as he is the only amateur in the top 3. Chris has been skating since he was 4 and Suzanne has had Dance training. He certainly keeps me enthralled and looking forward to Sunday evenings. I think Gareth and Maria have a fantastic rapport together, on and off the ice. My favourite though has to be Razzle Dazzle. I think Gareth has really had a chance to show his fun personality on DOI

I can’t understand how anyone can say they can’t remember Gareth’s routines.Gareth has been very consistant from day one. As a Novice Gareth is the most improved of them all. Of course if you count the people who have been skating since they were 5 years old that’s a different matter. I thought the idea of the show was for non skaters to learn to dance on ice.Obviously this year is different when some one who has got such a big advantage over the others is being pushed to win. I for one have abstained from voting as it is all a big fix Gill

Why is it you can’t remember Gareth’s routine?have you not been watching the programme properly?Gareth being the only novice near the top has done fantasticly well,he is great with his partner Maria,he dances on ice as he is suppose to do and looks gorgeous the way he and Maria glide across the ice, he doesn’t barge in like a bull in a china shop and try to outskate his partner, I think he should win DANCING ON ICE he has worked very hard and in my eyes performs better than any of the others considering he had no experience,he’s personality shines out too since his speach is so improved,If DOI is judged fairly my bets are that Gareth is a winner of the compitition.
