Dancing On Ice Betting Odds Emily Symons Claire Buckfield Duncan JamesOn Saturday this series of Dancing On Ice will reach its dramatic finale, with all kinds of special exciting dancing and ice-related high-jinks planned – but don't expect to see Emily Symons in the Dancing On Ice final, because she's been kicked out.

Let's be fair, though, Emily Symons shouldn't have even reached this stage of Dancing On Ice. Over the last few weeks Emily has slipped, skidded and wobbled around like a drunken tightrope walker, and yet the public kept her in Dancing On Ice despite it. In many respects this was because Emily was the anti-Buckfield – although she wasn't the best skater, her routines were stuffed with tender moments of high emotion that people can't help but warm to. However, the Dancing On Ice judges only gave Emily Symons a score of 22.5 for her performance to I'll Stand By You, and she couldn't convince them to keep her in with her skate-off routine. But reaching the semi-finals is no mean feat, and Dr Fox must be wishing he'd utilised his giant boobs quite as well as Emily did with hers.

But who's going to win Saturday's Dancing On Ice final? Here's part one of our Dancing On Ice betting odds – for Duncan James and Claire Buckfield – with help from Paddy Power…

Duncan James – Duncan James is really starting to freak us out now. After his Dancing On Ice performance last week we found ourselves temporarily not hating him – and this week he shaved off his gay little beardlet. But it takes more than a smooth face to keep us happy, and on Saturday's Dancing On Ice he disappointed again with his routine to I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. His required invented element – something called a Koala Spin – was unforgivably rubbish, and after all of Duncan's protestations about wanting to do more lifts on Dancing On Ice, the two he managed on Saturday were wobbly and hesitant. Despite all this, though, the Dancing On Ice judges seemed to like it and gave Duncan a score of 24.5. On the whole: dull and uneventful, which isn't exactly what you want from a Dancing On Ice winner, is it? Current Dancing On Ice betting odds – 11/1

Claire Buckfield – Claire Buckfield is learning that it's never good to have a strong start on shows like Dancing On Ice, partly because the public loves to see their talent show contestants improve over the course of the series, and partly because everyone's a little bit sick of her calling everyone "dude" all the effing time. Claire Buckfield consistently gets huge scores from the Dancing On Ice judges, but it doesn't translate to phone votes for some reason. Take Saturday's Dancing On Ice for example. After smashing her elbow to smithereens during training, Claire sucked up the pain and gave a dazzling, insanely difficult-looking routine to Ain't No Mountain High Enough that included a million spins – and a new invented lift so good that that Dancing On Ice judges plan on stealing it – and got a score of 25.5 for it. However, it's all razzle dazzle with Claire Buckfield and no emotion. We suspect this might be her undoing. Current Dancing On Ice betting odds – 6/1
