Dancing On Ice Betting Odds: Bracken & Buckfield (Again)

Dancing On Ice Betting Odds Kyran Bracken Claire BuckfieldNow that all the terrible dancers like Ulrika and Dr Fox have long since left Dancing On Ice, the competition can get tricky – now, instead of hokey cowboy themes, the Dancing On Ice contestants have to do things like dance with props.

Now, we know what props we'd like to see the Dancing On Ice competitors using – blowtorches, chainsaws, swarms of locusts etc – but instead the Dancing On Ice props that actually came into play included gaspingly mundane items like a hat and a chair. Whoopee freaking doo – next series we'd like to see tigers and hand grenades used as props, you hear that Dancing On Ice team? Tigers and grenades!

But who's going to win Dancing On Ice? Chances are it'll be one of these two – here are the Dancing On Ice betting odds to win for Claire Buckfield and Kyran Bracken, with betting odds coming from Paddy Power

Claire Buckfield - Dancing On Ice has done wonders for Claire Buckfield. Prior to it she was best known for either being in a sitcom that nobody can really remember very well or going out with the one from Ant And Dec with the normal-sized head, but now she's known as the girl from Dancing On Ice who is better than Ulrika Jonsson. Saturday's Dancing On Ice saw Claire Buckfield do the same old thing as normal and stuff the runtime of Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps with the kind of stupefying Fear Factor-esque stunts that would have lesser mortals crying in the foetal position – including one stupid float-spin involving their prop chair that really ought to have finished with Claire picking frozen teeth out of her chin. In the end the spin went without a hitch – and she got a Dancing On Ice score of 24.5 – but because a vast proportion of her routine was basically spent sitting on a chair, the judges will want to see more work from her next week. Especially the Russian one who nobody can really understand. Current Dancing On Ice betting odds – 9/2

Kyran Bracken – Saturday's Dancing On Ice included several shit props – a chair, an umbrella, a hat, for god's sake – but Kyran Bracken was given the shittest of them all… a suitcase. Things didn't look so great for him in training, though, and he dropped his partner on his knee so hard that ITV must have used up a decade's worth of bleeper machines trying to cover up his Dancing On Ice partner's sweary outburst. But then, typically, the live show came and Kyran aced it again. Dressed from head to toe in a skintight Gay Pride flag, Kyran Bracken and his partner zoomed round the rink to Hello Goodbye to such dazzling effect that we even forgot that we were basically watching a burly rugby player sitting on a suitcase and pulling a succession of increasingly camp end-of-the-pier faces. Kyran and his lady friend used the suitcase to full effect – pulling each other around on it, skidding about on it, plucking roses from it – so much so that one of the Dancing On Ice judges, after giving him a score of 28, told Kyran that he was as good as a professional. That's the last thing we wanted to hear – as an enthusiastic amateur we sort of liked Kyran Bracken, but as a potential professional we just want to shatter his leg with a crowbar. Current Dancing On Ice betting odds – 1/4

They’re both good skaters, but that’s missing the point of the show, which is watching famous people fall over and batter themselves up. More of that please
