Foldedlaundry You want the weekend, we want the weekend, so let’s get into it.

As always, Folded for the week’s good stuff, Creased for the bad. Ugh!

Folded:

  • Pendulum – Hold Your Colour album (finally something new)
  • Escape to the Legion on Channel 4 (they got us again)
  • Silver City (Chris Cooper looks on form)
  • Shrugging your shoulders and saying "I dunno"
  • Poppycock cashew popcorn (posh people’s popcorn)
  • 2005 World Stupidity Awards (vote now!)
  • Polo shirts and jeans (keep it simple fellas)
  • GLC (guess who’s back, back again)

Creased:

  • Deep Dish – George Is On album (sorry, was that the alarm?)
  • Panorama on BBC1 (does anybody, ever?)
  • Fantastic Four (Jessica Alba looks a bit like Carol Vorderman)
  • Saying "basically", "indeed" and "at the end of the day" a lot
  • Poppycock pecan popcorn (at least attach the pecans to the bloody popcorn!)
  • Mercury Music Prize (Maximo Park, done)
  • Polo shirts and shorts (nice, off to five-a-side, are we?)
  • Eminem (Martika: there is no recovery)

    I love it - I’m off to vote for World’s Stupidest right now.

    God, if anybody says “basically” again in a bid to sound intelligent (in turn making them sound thick as two short planks) then I’ll scream. Basically.
