Creased or Folded? hecklerspray Tells You the Way it is

Creased_trousersIf it were Christmas Eve right now that would be Folded. As such it’s not and we’re all a bit grumpy. So that’s Creased.

Let’s see what’s hot and not this week.

Folded:

  • Paracetamols (great for defusing any headaches still lingering after Jamie Cullum’s performance at BBC Proms in the Park)
  • George Clooney (he might just cut it as a director after all)
  • Vint Cerf (the genius Internet pioneer joins lucky Google)
  • 40-Year-Old Virgin Has Large Opening’ headline for the new Steve Carrell movie in Empire (wish we’d thought of it)
  • Fake Alibi website (will provide all the lies you need to have an affair – and make a false paper trail too. What an age we live in!)

Creased:

  • British resolve over Petrol (if this was France it would be 50p a litre by now. Or 74 cents.)
  • Saturday morning terrestrial TV (What’s occurring, people? Even with the epileptic Dick and Dom it’s still BORING)
  • Jessica Simpson (are we missing something here? With that jawline?! She’s a guy!)
  • Advert Promotions in magazines (a worrying trend. Two pages into the arse-kissing and it finally dawns how the mag got their so-called exclusive)
  • ‘Metrosexual’ (by popular demand a word that basically means being gay without mincing. Makes even less sense than ‘Middle England’)

If last week’s quote was from 1992’s Glengarry Glen Ross (DVDs) (and it was), then this week’s might just be another Al Pacino movie. Or it might not.

"You think I’m a rat…?"

Dick and/or Dom September 17, 2005 at 11:35 am

How can you not see that Dick And Dom In Da Bungalow is the greatest TV show in the galaxy? Today they were reading e-mails when a tiny boy dressed as a pirate ran through the house screaming. And two ballroom dancers waggling their arms and blowing raspberries. Sure beats Extras, anyway

Great lists as usual – agree with them all – although surely The X Factor, Saturday evening terrestrial TV, with Simon and Louis’s classic comments should be folded!? Quote – Donnie Brasco??..
