Glenn Beck may be going blind. Isn’t that sad? Maybe he actually cried all the fluid out of his eye-sockets, leaving him with two rattling pork scratchings in his skull? Maybe he just plays with himself too frequently?
Beck, who you have no doubt seen going slowly postal on Fox News (or indeed, being lampooned on other programmes) could gradually lose his eyesight and he’s already admitted that he’s “too darn lazy to learn Braille.” That’s okay Glenn! Don’t worry yourself unduly! You make stuff up in your round little head all the time… you don’t need your eyes for that (although, you’ll now have to feel some faces before you can decide whether they’re evil terrorists, rather than just spy a turban and call it off the cuff).
In an announcement, Beck said:
“Yes, I have a problem with my eyes. A couple of weeks ago, I went to the doctor because I can’t focus my eyes … So I went to the best doctor I could find … he did all kinds of tests, and he said I have macular dystrophy.”
Don’t confuse that with muscular dystrophy. That’s a completely different thing altogether. Basically, the thing Beck has got affects a tiny portion of the retina which will mean that he’ll have difficulty reading print and identifying faces, blurred vision and it’ll be hard to focus. Alas, it does have the potential to cause blindness.
Glenn Beck haters will be thrilled to know that there’s no known cure for macular dystrophy and, no doubt, with Obama’s health care reforms, he’ll get treated by a dirty commie who will put fluoride in his water and brain-wash him into being a spy.
And what does Beck think of it all?
“I plan on dealing with it with a smile and dignity, and quite honestly, at least I’ll be able to get away with a blind joke from time to time.”

We should all be alarmed direction our country is moving. We are moving towards socialism and soft tyranny. The more solcial, and welfare programs we have, means more citizens dependent on our government. The more people dependent on the government, means the more they get to control our every aspect of our lives. Are we not free men? Do you want to kneel before your leeader as a peasant, a surf, a slave? That Is not what is I fight for. That is not what I defend. I defend the constitution which lays the groundwork for men to be free. Our federal government has, since F.D.R. And the new deal moved outside it’s constitutional limits. Like Beck says… WAKE UP PEOPLE! He’s crazy because our government has drove him and MANY other Americans crazy. Oh and by the way… As a soldier, defender of your freedoms and the constitution, to which I have taken a sacred oath to defend, I am a POTENTIAL domestic terrorist. Enjoy your socialism!
i’m not impressed, soldier. stfu with your “socialism” and your “soft tyranny” if you don’t really understand the subject. It will be exciting times when all “potential” domestic terrorists/ constitutional scholars let us all know what the founders “really” meant. I’d re-read it if I were you.

It is SO SAD that you CANNOT see or appreciate the woes of others. It is also too bad you cannot see around corners. Who knows what ills might befall you in future days, or years. Should that happen, HOW would you react? Would you be all SMILES and CHEERS? Tell me honestly. Would you have any fears if you, or any of your closely loved family, found out they had an incurable disease? (I go back to the SMILES and CHEERS. Would they be there?)
Honestly, I find your comments about Mr. Beck repulsive and very insensitive. Should something as horrible happen to you, (and I am not wishing any ills upon you) would you enjoy seeing someone post something as repulsive as your posting? I think not.
I don’t know what hatred is in your heart, but if you have ANY dignity what-so-ever, I would recomment you take down your posting.

I’m sorry my cousin has this and it is very sad to see. He can’t drive and he mostly has to listen to books on tape. On good days he can read large print books. So what is there to rejoice in? I don’t care who it is you don’t rejoice in this. I use to respect a lot of people on the left till I figured out how tasteless and classless they were. Just another example of it.
Just to clear a few things up:
1. I haven’t stated that I’m ‘on the left’.
2. Glenn Beck is an unrelenting, bigoted fuck-socket.
3. This disease isn’t funny at all… unless Glenn Beck gets it.
My parents always said, if you wank too much you’ll go blind. Seeing as Glen Beck is a total malakas, it’s only fitting.

Their comments also mirror: A sterile environment provides the fertile breeding ground for sterile thinking.

I think it’s open season on Glenn Beck wherever and whenever possible. That maniac has been profiting with his televangelist phony news machine for far too long at the expense of everyone else in this country. Give me a break. Glenn Beck has done NOTHING to improve the political discourse in this country, he’s done the opposite by spewing his caustic fearmongering BS on FOX news. So he’s going blind, big deal. Now he can get a firsthand account of what blind people like Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder had to deal with and overcame. Lets see if he can do the same. My guess is he’ll be crying for real when that happens.
