Coronation Street Vs Victoria Beckham - It’s On!

Celebs eh? They’re great aren’t they? They never fail to liven up our putrid existence. hecklerspray has a particular penchant for a cat fight and, yessir, there’s one a-brewin’!

Star of the Coronation Street cobbles, Sally Lindsay, better known to us as Shelley, has flung a bizarre tirade against Mrs Victoria Beckham. Sally recently fumed and frothed, spitting out

“She looks like a fly on it’s hind legs! She looks like she’s had a stroke. I’ve always thought it was nicer to smile in a photo.”

Miaow!

Sally Lindsay from Coronation Street didn’t save her bile entirely for Victoria Beckham (CDs) however, launching into anyone that popped into her tiny mind. On David Beckham:

“He’s such a media slag! He was an amazing
footballer, I’ll give him that. He’s sold his soul to the devil now –
the media. If you sell your wedding for a million, then the marriage
becomes theirs!”

Obviously, poor old Sally is leaving herself exposed to a return volley
from the Beckham mafia. Rumours that Victoria Beckham is coming up with
a "She can bugger off, she’s got bingo wings" smear campaign could not
be confirmed at the time of press.

Sally Lindsay, friend of Peter Kay, is no stranger to the pop world, being a
singer in the choir of St Winifred’s School Truants with the ditty Grandma We Love You. The follow up hit, the murky The Tale Of A Widower with its opening line of "This one goes out to all the DEAD!"
didn’t dent the hit parade. Lindsay’s CV reads that - aside from the pop
single - she has pursued a comedy career, and is the girlfriend of Paul
Weller’s drummer.

Whereas Victoria Beckham has had countless rubbish number ones with The Spice
Girls, starred with Richard E Grant in Spiceworld: The Movie, and probably
has a personal fortune of millions and millions of pounds.

In terms of achievement, it’s obvious that Beckham trumps the soap
star. In terms of looking like something from Attenborough’s Life In The Undergrowth, she probably wins that too.

Still, hecklerspray can only sit and await Posh’s response.
