Steven Gibbs is a man who claims he was contacted by time travellers and given the schematics for how exactly to build his own era-jumping machine. He's since built one, and claims to have successfully travelled. Not only that - but he sells the machines so that you can travel too.

Other people have bought the time-devices and even successfully used them, or so goes the claim anyway.

This week: Aliens/UFOs

In 1947 many would tell you a UFO crashed in Roswell, New Mexico and ignited ET-mania across the globe. It was a major case in which hundreds of pieces of evidence - be they physical or otherwise - have been held up in an attempt to prove to the world that the crash really happened, and the government most definitely doesn't want you to know.

Well the United States isn't the only place where something like this happened. In Mexico, for instance, a civilian airplane is said to have collided with a UFO, sending both machines plummeting to the ground. A difference in this case though, is that according to a History Channel special on the event - all the Mexican military who were involved in retrieving and transporting the object died en-route.

We're not all like you - we don't all use Google Earth to try and find topless women sunbathing in their garden. Some people use it to find massive spooky weirdness in arctic wildernesses.

Watch this video - it's of something that's shown up in Greenland on Google Earth. Apparently there's a perfectly straight, brightly-glowing object that's 50 miles long slap-bang in the middle of Greenland. What could it be? A mysterious government-controlled alien laboratory? A crashed UFO? A trick of the light? That 50-mile glowing dildo that your mum lost the other week? We just don't know.

One thing's for sure, though - the people need to be told! Or the people need to be ignored because they'll probably forget all about by the time they go to bed. One way or the other.

This week: Aliens/The Unexplainable

Every year there are thousands of people around the globe who claim to be abducted, and to have had alien technology embedded under their skin. Go to a surgeon with a story like that and you'll probably be laughed out of the office - unless of course, you happen to be in the waiting room of Dr Roger Leir. He claims to have removed about a dozen of these implants from people's bodies.

Not only that, but he also claims some of these things emit radio signals - and some of them have even moved themselves to avoid being taken out. Coast to Coast host George Noory was an eyewitness to that last bit.

This week: Cryptozoology/Odd Sightings

Encounters with a paranormal creature usually have one witness. Some kid is out in the wild hiking alone, then wham-o, the bitter stench of Bigfoot fills his nostrils in a face to face meet and greet. The better sightings will have two or more unwitting participants who eventually issue similar statements. The real good kind of paranormal encounter includes a sighting, a local radio broadcast of the sighting, droves of onlookers racing to the scene via automobiles and police running for their lives.

And so it is with the Lake Worth Monster.

This week: Strange Facts

In 1969 the American space program was fledgling. Regardless of their inexperience, the pimple-faced NASA felt obligated to take a solid crack at sticking boots on the moon. This they did, as we now know today. Neil Armstrong said something about jumping, and Buzz Aldrin was probably pissed Armstrong beat him down the ladder.

What's a little less known is that the American up and ups weren't entirely sure they could get their boys back to Earth. In fact, things were so uncertain Richard Nixon even had a speech drafted up in case of horrific failure. Hecklerspray has it for you.

The Goatman we're talking about today has more to do with Bigfoot than it does a cowboy with an unnatural animal fixation. In fact - Goatman pretty much is Bigfoot from the sound of it, just replace all the ape parts with that of goat. He's all covered in fur, he walks on two legs and has cloven hooves. The hybrid has been spotted all over North America, and has several attacks on loving couples attributed to him.

This week: Aliens/UFOs

So everyone knows about the supposed Roswell, New Mexico UFO crash, and most people have heard that some little grey aliens were found at the crash site. One offshoot of the story that many folks haven't heard is that one of the big black-eyed beings survived. This creature is said to have been treated well enough to have developed an affinity for his captors.

According to one version of the story, the alien was allowed to contact his home several years later - and with a good report for its American captors. This eventually lead to an 'exchange program' with the aliens in which 12 Americans went to the far-off ET planet, and one alien stayed here. There the American explorers lived happily for 13 years before most of them returned to Earth.

And the planet they visited - apparently we call it Serpo.

Dennis Kucinich is a US Congressman, and is currently trying to fill the Democratic ticket for president of the United States. He was in the middle of a debate recently when Tim Russert, debate moderator, asked him with previous knowledge if he had ever seen a UFO.

Kucinich's answer, quite simply:

"I did."

This week: Cryptozoology/Myths

Cryptozoology is a category of odd "animals" that may or may not exist. Bigfoot is a member of this exclusive group, so is Nessie, a whole bunch of lizard people and loads of other near-mythological creatures. Normally though, sightings of these animals are purely visual with zero physical interaction.

Occasionally this changes, and not only does a witness get to see an alleged phenomena, but they get attacked by it too. So it is with El Petizo, a creature sighted in Argentina that is apparently made of shadow. A boy there had to fight him with a shotgun and knife fairly recently, but his weapons were useless.

The Clutchbone is the name of a seven-foot monster that used to stumble around Nordic countries in the 1800s. It had flames for a head, and used to kill its prey by burning and dismemberment. The legend particularly interests us as we've only known about it for just over a week. Not only that, but the internet has but little information on the creature - but what it does have we've assembled for you right here!

This week: Scientific Wonders/Strange Facts

The thought of head transplants has been alive for decades in realm of sci-fi. Usually the subject of such an operation would end up as an horrible abomination out to destroy mankind. Sometimes the subject of the operation ends up with his head on a Chihuahua like Pierce Brosnan and/or Sarah Jessica Parker in Mars Attacks! Most inconvenient.

What may surprise many is that no less than two successful head transplants have taken place - albeit on monkeys instead of humans. We've got video to prove it.
