If hecklerspray ever had to fight a crocodile, we’d start out by giving it our famous one-two punch, follow up with our world renowned triple-round-house kick, and then we’d force its tail into its own mouth making it chew until it was nothing more than a little scaly donut.

Don’t try that at home, kids. We’ve had training.

If we ever had to fight Mahamba, on the other hand, we’d probably do all the same things except with construction cranes instead of our hands. That’s because Mahamba is reported to be a 50′ long croc. It’s been sighted in the Congo, and some say it’s a remnant from a very ancient age.

The Big Grey Man of Ben MacDhui, or Am Fear Liath Mòr as he seems to be known in his native Scotland, is a ten-foot-tall creature that ‘haunts’ a very high peek in the Cairngorms. He’s been described as both a physical creature and a ghost of sorts, and many a mountain climber has a story including him.

Whether the Fear Liath is a physical creature or not, those that have encountered him have said they were absolutely overcome with fear - sometimes enough so to cause them to stumble through five miles of mountainous fog just to escape his presence.

There isn’t a lot published about the Black Umbrella Project. We heard it mentioned by a caller on Coast to Coast. What it is, allegedly, is a government-run hybridisation between human beings and the world’s most vicious predators. The caller already mentioned claimed to be part cat.

We’ve scoured the internet looking for Black Umbrella stories, but we couldn’t find anything except for what the caller himself has posted.

Still, It’s quite interesting.

Thoughts of people flying aren’t so strange today. We’ve seen video of big bulky jet packs carrying people all sorts of places through the air - like from a prison on Arrested Development. As we understand it, that show was a documentary, and everything we saw there really happened.

What’s stranger, though, is that multiple people swear up and down they saw people fly without the aid of a device. That’s probably because human/bird hybrids don’t need mechanics to soar through the air.

George Jeffereys was born in 1665. He went on to eventually become a judge with a penchant for ordering hangings - hence his nickname The Hanging Judge. Needless to say - if you had a day in court you’d just hope it wasn’t him sitting under the presiding powder wig.

You’d probably want to see him even less now, as he’s said to be a ghost seen walking about England carrying a fistful of bloody bone.

Every week in this feature we bring you weird stories about the types of things you see in the paragraph above. We’ve talked about bigfoot, aliens. ghosts and a ton of other other-worldly oddities. The only one that really spooks us is today’s topic - shadow people.

Shadow people are just what they sound like - a dark outline of a person seen walking across a wall, a door, or even through trees. The one individually recognised around the world is the Hat-man, so named because he always seems to be wearing a bowler. Perhaps the reason it spooks us so bad is because we know a lot of people who have seen them.

Today we bring you a few stories of these things, along with a video of people describing their encounters. So, you know, curl up in your jammies and enjoy.

So some town in New York state has had a rash of Bigfoot sightings recently - and of multiple creatures at a time too. To quote one witness referring to a sighting she had on her property:

“It had a juvenile with it about my height.”

To quote another witness:

“I kind of wanted to shave it, put it in a silk shirt and bring it to a German discotheque.”

OK - we made up quote #2 - but the first one is authentic! Read on!

The Bunyip is an Australian legend that started with the Aborigines, and was subsequently spread among the white settlers. It’s been physically described as looking a thousand different ways - having everything from horse parts to tentacles.

At one point a skull of the creature was thought to be found, and when science at the time could not definitively identify it - it looked like the legends were all too true.

There are times in life when things look bad, when you don't see the point in much and when, well, you just downright hate things.

Then something happens that picks you up, makes you happy again and fills you with a beaming smile that somehow manages to envelop your entire body, filling your whole physical presence with joy from head to toe.

Take, for example, when a UFO sighting was reported somewhere in Wales, and this police radio conversation was conducted:

Control: "Alpha Zulu 20, this object in the sky, did anyone have a look at it?"

Officer: "Yes, it's the Moon. Over."

In today's world, it's not uncommon to talk about human beings orbiting the earth, walking on the moon or sometimes somebody who's done that kind of stuff driving cross country in diapers to possibly murder her boyfriend's true love. A long time ago though - say hundreds or thousands of years - mankind must have thought the only thing living way up in the heavens was God himself.

Except for the people who already knew of mortals flying beyond the stratosphere. They'd not be surprised by our space-flight accomplishments at all. There's allegedly evidence that some people cite to prove astronauts were around a long, long time ago.

In 1982 Benedetto Supino, an Italian adolescent boy, discovered something quite strange about himself. He was sitting in a dentist's waiting-room reading a comic book when all of the sudden the thing burst into flames right there in his hands.

At the time, no doubt, he claimed total innocence to deaf ears. Once a fiery pattern was established after a few more incidents, his surrounding adults may have been more likely to believe him - especially when they actually saw him accidentally ignite things without a match in sight.
