Halloween: The Nine Creepiest Puppets Of All Time
By Stuart Heritage on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 3:00pm | 8 Comments
Halloween: The Nine Creepiest Puppets Of All Time Halloween seems to have lost its bite lately. What's scary about a couple of children with sheets on their heads asking for confectionery? Nothing.
So how can we make Halloween scary again? Simple - puppets. Puppets and dolls are easily the scariest thing in the entire world. Look at them, staring at you with their cold, dead eyes. They're terrifying. And we're pretty sure they all come to life at night and watch you sleep. Seriously, 9's released today and that little doll thing freaks us out.
So in the spirit of Halloween we've decided to compile the definitive list of culture's creepiest, freakiest, most uncomfortably nightmarish puppets. Enjoy. And sleep well tonight...

Top 17 Poker Babes

Top 17 Poker Babes Poker is officially our new favourite pastime.
But we are not talking about just playing it – watching it can be just as good.
Now, TV programmes dedicated to featuring fat, balding men with crap monikers like 'Pretty Boy' and 'Cardshark' leering over their cards at each other may not seem like a good night's entertainment. And you would be right.

Creased or Folded? hecklerspray Tells You the Way it is Star Wars and Clone Wars.
Folded:
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (zip-line! The train! The mountains! Holy crap!)
Batman bike leathers (these are either too cool for school or too sad for words. Not sure yet)
A ‘state of the art film centre for London’s South Bank (so we can’t really afford £45 million quid at the moment, but what else is new?)

MySpace Trawl – Nic Dawson Kelly

MySpace Trawl – Nic Dawson Kelly One of the best things about writing these features is that we can mess around for the first couple of paragraphs by telling really rubbish jokes.
You know, we’ll harp on for a while about something that is vaguely connected about the object/thing/person we’re talking about and then swing everything back round. We’re clever like that. It also makes people think we know what we’re doing.
With this week’s MySpace Trawl, we don’t however need to badger on about anything. Nic Dawson Kelly simply delivers a no nonsense musical product.

Badvertising – McDonald’s, Coming Back For A Big Mac
By Matthew Laidlow on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 10:00am | One Comment
Badvertising – McDonald’s, Coming Back For A Big Mac McDonald's seems to appear again and again on this feature.
Before you all think we must have got food poisoning off them once and subsequently hate Ronald McDonald, we don’t. Honestly, their advertising is just complete and utter pants. Nowadays, they have improved, but we’re still unconvinced that farmers hug all the cows before slashing their throats.
This time we’re travelling back to merry old 1978 where everyone in this advert seemed to be quite posh. Maybe McDonald's wanted us to believe that people with class dined in their restaurants and not just scummy kids who’d steal the free straws, napkins and packets of sauce. Contain yourself, it’s after the jump...
The Office USA Vs The Office UK: Top Moments
By Stuart Heritage on Monday, October 19, 2009 at 3:00pm | 21 Comments
The Office USA Vs The Office UK: Top Moments Like everything from cultural imperialism to one specific type of muffin, The Office was a British idea copied by the Americans.
Both the British and American versions of The Office have been stormed the ratings, both the British and American versions of The Office have mined comedy from awkward and mundane situations and both the British and American versions of The Office have spawned movie stars, as seen in everything from Get Smart to Love, Actually to Pirates Of The Caribbean to that rubbishy George Clooney film about American football.
But which is better - the British Office or the American Office? It's a debate that everyone has an opinion on but nobody has comprehensively won. And that's why we're here now. Using a complex scientific algorythm based on five categories, we've decided to find out which version of The Office is best. You may disagree with us if you like. Just know that if you do, you're wrong...
