This series of Big Brother has gone on for so long that neither of the Big Brother twins were actually born when it began, and Jonty had yet to learn the dangerous thrill of getting his willy out in front of girls. This last week of Big Brother is crawling by so slowly that it's all we can do not to go and hibernate until tomorrow night when, finally, we get to discover who the winner of Big Brother 2007 is.

Ah, the last week of Big Brother - traditionally a time for the dullest, least polarising Big Brother housemates to boringly chum around the Big Brother house tediously killing time until Friday, when they can all go home.

And now that Tracey and Kara-Louise have been evicted from the Big Brother house, the remaining Big Brother housemates will have to see out their time without a gruff, catchphrase-spewing Terrahawk and Cruella DeVille's younger, more annoying sister. But that's not really a huge loss for anyone, is it? Oh, and Chanelle returned to the Big Brother house at the weekend, too - and although it was only for about ten minutes, it was ten minutes longer than we wanted to see her shrieking idiot face on Big Brother again.

It's the last normal eviction of Big Brother 2007 tonight, so try not to shed too many tears - although, since Kara Louise and Tracey are favourites to go, they'll only either be tears of joy or tears induced by Kara-Louise's awful laugh.

Don't forget that tonight's Big Brother eviction will be a double eviction, with Jonty, Kara-Louise and Tracey all facing the chop. You know, we're pretty sure that Big Brother double evictions are a gift direct from the heavens, because not only does it cull twice as many Big Brother housemates, but the evictees don't get as much time in the spotlight, either.

And tomorrow Big Brother will be evicting either Jonty and Kara-Louise. Or Tracey and Kara-Louise. Or Tracey and Jonty. Whoever gets the shove will be understandably upset that they missed their big chance to make it into the Big Brother final, but they should look on the bright side - true, they'll have proof that they're the least-liked Big Brother housemates in the eyes of their fellow housemates and the Big Brother viewers, but none of them were ever going to win Big Brother, plus they'll get a seven-minute interview and a week on Big Brother's Little Brother, but what will Carole get, huh? Nothing, that's what.

It's was a sad sad day in the Big Brother house yesterday - the Big Brother eviction nominations were announced to the housemates for the very last time, but that didn't stop them jumping on Jonty, Kara-Louise and Tracey.

This time next week, Big Brother will be barrelling into its big finale, so - unless a mid-week snap eviction is called - that's it for eviction nominations this year. And what fun they've been - what can we possibly do on Tuesday nights now, instead of watching the Big Brother nomination announcement on Big Brother's Little Brother? Going outside? Talking to people? Not thinking solidly about Big Brother all the time to the extent that every human relationship we've formed since the start of Big Brother turns to ashes in front of our eyes? That's terrifying, we need to be held.

After a series that's literally lasted for six or seven years, Big Brother 8 is finally drawing to a close, and that's why Big Brother is putting the remaining housemates through Big Brother's finishing academy.

This week the Big Brother housemates will be forced to learn some social etiquette and then pass a test on it at something called the Big Brother ball, which sounds like every other dreadful party Big Brother has ever had, only this time the Big Brother housemates will be getting drunk in uncomfortable suits and enunciating properly when they vomit onto their shoes at 5am. Besides, isn't this Big Brother finishing academy malarkey all a little bit too late? We haven't been able to understand a single word the twins have said all series, so why the hell should we start now?

Friday's Big Brother eviction was the most dramatic of the series so far, as four idiots dressed up as beardy clowns basically had to listen to Gerry bang on about how much he wanted to leave the Big Brother house for a few minutes.

That probably wasn't the plan, though - in theory the Big Brother housemates were to be read out the names of the housemates with the most public eviction votes and then burst into all sorts of angry tears as the gurus were told they had to pick the Big Brother housemate who'd get the shove in a move that would tear the Big Brother house to pieces. In the end, when the shock twist was revealed Gerry decided that he should go and Carole should stay and the gurus just acquiesced and everyone got on with business as normal. Except for Gerry, of course, who probably still hasn't shut up about how special and important he is for falling on his sword in such a noble way. The git.

So tonight is the big night; the night when a handful of Big Brother housemates are handed the responsibility of evicting one of their own, provided they can understand what they're being asked to do - a long shot, we know.

As Big Brother gurus, Ziggy, Tracey and Sam and Amanda are exempt from the public vote, but tonight they'll be told the names of the two Big Brother housemates with the most votes and will have to evict one of them. For the Big Brother gurus this means a lot of decisions and a lot of guilt, but for you it means money - because with six Big Brother housemates who can potentially be evicted, it means that the Big Brother betting odds are longer than they have been for a long time. So place some money down and make yourselves a little bit richer. Then take us out to dinner - we're starving.

So that's where this week's Big Brother task was going; there will be a public vote for tomorrow's Big Brother eviction, but the gurus - Ziggy, Tracey and Sam and Amanda - will have to make the final decision themselves.

Now that Ziggy, Tracey and the Big Brother twins have all become gurus for displaying the most amount of improvement in either mind, body or soul-related tasks, and tomorrow they will be told the names of the two Big Brother housemates who received the most votes from the public, and will be charged with the responsibility of kicking one of them out. It's a smart move on Big Brother's part - decisions like this always cause drama and bad feeling in the Big Brother house. Unless they all decide to evict Kara-Louise, of course - nobody really gives that much of a shit about her.

There are two kinds of food fights in the world; ones that involve fighting with food and ones that involve bitching about food like a gang of massive tosspots - and guess which one the Big Brother housemates have been doing?

There was a rebellion of sorts within the Big Brother house yesterday, as a group of Big Brother housemates led by Ziggy and Liam confronted Carole over her dominance of the kitchen and controlling nature over the housemates' food rations. The Big Brother house has rarely seen moments as dramatic as those yesterday, which is a bit of a shame when you think that the whole thing just amounted to a handful of morons squabbling about some poxy teabags for a few minutes. Still, never mind - at least one of the Big Brother housemates will be out on their ear on Friday.
