Casanova_balloonSienna Miller appears to have become one of the most famous actresses in the world. It seems that getting cheated on by Jude Law has been the best thing that’s ever happened to her.

At the Venice film festival, where she is promoting her new movie Casanova, she’s been all over the place. And she’s looking for love. Or not. She was a bit vague, really.

Before Nannygate, Sienna Miller (DVDs) was only moderately famous for a handful of things. And acting was only third on the list, after being Jude Law’s (DVDs) girlfriend and wearing stupid gypsy dresses all the time.

Now, it looks like the tables have turned. While Jude has been seen pictures of his willy splashed all over the newspapers, Sienna has become something of a noted actress. Even though she’s mostly famous for a small role in Alfie - the worst film remake of all time - her stock has risen enough for her to take roles as Edie Sedgewick in the forthcoming Factory Girl, plus a starring role in a bonkers-sounding Frank Miller historical epic.

But first comes Casanova, in which she plays Francesca opposite Heath Ledger. And during promotion for the movie in Venice, Sienna said:

"Personally I’ve met a few Casanovas that I’ve liked, and a few that I haven’t. And I hope to meet a few more."

What does she mean? It seems like Sienna’s not quite ready to be judged completely on her acting ability, and she’s still keen to carp on about the whole Jude Law thing.

"What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger… I’d
be lying if I said that it hasn’t been a really rough couple of months,
but at the end of the day I’ve got a huge support system. My mum, my sister, my best mates and Jude have all been really supportive of me."

To some extent, at least. Is she going to get back with Jude, or is she single again?

"I’m not talking about that."

Oh Sienna, you bloody great tease.
