Britney Spears To Guest-Div On Will And Grace

Will And Grace, the ‘only really funny if you watch it first thing in the morning’ sitcom about a ginger woman, a gay man and every single celebrity ever, is to get a brand new guest star - Britney Spears.

Really, this is great news. Britney Spears will get another chance to showcase her unique performing style as last seen in Crossroads, Will And Grace get a bunch of free publicity to make up for the fact that it hasn’t really been very good for three or four years and people who like neither Britney Spears or Will And Grace can roll their eyes, act all unsurprised and sigh "Will And Grace? Britney Spears? Pah!"

Britney Spears (CDs) recently received some spiritual guidance from a Hindu
minister. And it appears that the Hindu minister told Britney "Go on
that show with all the gays in it," - as she’s lined herself up for a
role on Will And Grace as a conservative Christian. According to the
BBC:

She will appear as a talk show sidekick to Sean Hayes’ character, Jack, in an episode to be shown in the US in April. Jack’s fictional network, Out TV, is bought by a
Christian TV network, leading to Spears contributing a cooking segment
called Cruci-fixin’s.

Ha.
But Britney Spears won’t be the first celebrity to prove that she has
no comedic skill whatsoever in an episode of Will And Grace. Madonna,
Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, Barry Manilow, Sharon Osbourne and the
entire cast of Will And Grace have all taken turns to show that they’re
not really very funny.

Now, the Will And Grace producers should
have decided to draft in Britney’s husband Kevin Federline to bust out
a crazy burst of his foot-chewingly bad new single PopoZao instead.
That’s comedy.

We’ll get to see just how side-splitting Britney Spears is on Will And Grace when her episode airs in April. That is, unless she pulls out first. She’s quite good at that.
