Seeing as how it's a four-day week, we're taking our final look at the British Soap Awards Villain Of The Year betting odds now - and we've saved the biggest bunch of low-down, no-good, pesky, evil arseholes in all of television up for you.
Unfortunately, though, Emily Bishop from Coronation Street isn't included in these British Soap Awards Villain Of The Year betting odds, even though it was her who flew the aeroplane into the Pentagon, invented bird flu and gave the go-ahead to make Wagon Wheels slightly smaller than usual.
Here are the British Soap Awards Villain Of The Year betting odds for Steve McFadden, Bill Ward and Billy Murray, with help from PaddyPower.com…
Steve McFadden - Steve McFadden plays Phil Mitchell in Eastenders. We're mighty disappointed in the Villain Of The Year contenders this year. Take Steve McFadden - if you discount the hilarious episode of Eastenders where Phil Mitchell escaped from prison, ran house-to-house through Albert Square smashing stuff up and flushing Ian Beale's head down the toilet before getting re-arrested - all he's actually done is pay a man to sleep with a young girl. Is that so evil? Because if that's wrong, we don't want to be right. And in real life, Steve McFadden was beaten up by a girl. Villain? Yeah, right. Current British Soap Awards Villain Of The Year betting odds - 5/1
Bill Ward - Bill Ward plays Charlie Stubbs in Coronation Street. Now this is more like it - Charlie Stubbs is a really nasty piece of work. He embarked on a long-term campaign of psychological abuse against his old girlfriend before shouting at her a bit and then running off with Tracy Barlow and her screaming child. And, um, well, that's it. OK, so Charlie Stubbs isn't that nasty at all compared to, say, Darth Vader. Or Mumm-Ra The Ever-Living. Or even The Mantis from Doctors. Current British Soap Awards Villain Of The Year betting odds - 7/2
Billy Murray - Billy Murray plays Johnny Allen in Eastenders. Here he is, Mr Evil himself - Johnny Allen. But how evil is he? All Johnny Allen ever seemed to do during his time on Eastenders was shout "Ruby! Ruby come back!", waggle a gun around for a little bit and shut Peggy Mitchell's fingers in a door. Oh, and order the death of Nigel Harman. But now Johnny Allen is locked away in prison, he's not going to hurt anyone. And we're not going to hear his incessant "I knew the Krays, I did," boasting on Des And Mel. Current British Soap Awards Villain Of The Year betting odds - 1/2
That's all for this week, and all for the villains.
