It's time for another look at the betting odds for the British Soap Awards Villain Of The Year contenders – where you can bet on the meanest, lowest soap snakes in all of soapville (population: some snakes).
Once again, we'd like to stress that Emily Bishop from Coronation Street isn't included in the Villain Of The Year shortlist, despite the fact that she clearly contravened the letting terms of her last bedsit by putting up posters with blu-tac and pissing in the sink. The big bloody villain.
Nevertheless, here are the British Soap Awards Villain Of The Year betting odds for Daniel Anthony, Lesley Harcourt and Patsy Kensit, with help from PaddyPower.com…
Daniel Anthony – Daniel Anthony plays Lex Keavey in Doctors. Lex. There's a villainous name. You know where you are with a Lex. Lex Luther. Korean bubblegum popstar Lexy. Evil all the way. Lex Lex Lex. Evil evil evil. You couldn't ask for a more evil son of a bitch than old Lex Keavey. Lex Keavey; grrr, what a villain. Villain of the year, we'd say. OK, we'll admit it – we haven't got a pissing clue who Lex Keavey is. Current British Soap Awards Villain Of The Year betting odds – 33/1
Lesley Harcourt – Lesley Harcourt plays Charlotte Roberts in Doctors. What's with all these Doctors villains? We're confused – the only villains that doctors should have are MRSA and overly complicated administration systems. Lesley Harcourt was only in two episodes of Doctors, but must have made enough of an impression to be put down as the Villain Of The Year. God knows why – perhaps she poured hot tea on an old lady or something. Current British Soap Awards Villain Of The Year betting odds – 33/1
Patsy Kensit – Patsy Kensit plays Sadie King in Emmerdale. Prior to Emmerdale, Pasty Kensit was famous for showing her boobs to Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon 2 and then marrying 1990's ape-man Liam Gallagher for a bit. But now she's known as Sadie King, Queen of Yorkshire. Evil Queen of Yorkshire in fact, like the evil Queen from Narnia, only with more car crashes and less thousand-year-long winters. Sadie King is sexy and powerful and cunning, but Patsy Kensit's real villainy lies in I'm Not Scared, her awful 1985 single. Current British Soap Awards Villain Of The Year betting odds – 25/1
