It’s time for our final look at the contenders for the Sexiest Male prize at next month’s British Soap Awards, and because it’s our final look, we’ve got something special for you.

Because, let’s face it, the 12 men we’ve looked at so far this week are about as sexy as a giant stack of envelopes with chest hair. They don’t stand a chance of winning the British Soap Awards Sexiest male awards, and they know it. Instead, they have been forced to kneel and admit the luminous sexiness of these three contenders – the three contenders with the shortest Sexiest Male betting odds.

So here are the British Soap Awards Sexiest Male betting odds for Richard Fleeshman, Chris Fountain and Nigel Harman, with help from PaddyPower…

Richard Fleeshman – Richard Fleeshman plays Craig Harris in Coronation Street. We’ve noticed two things about the British Soap Awards Sexiest Male finalists. 1) They are all part time singers and 2) none of them are particularly masculine. Look at Richard Fleeshman. Bizarre surname aside, Fleeshman is famous for winning Soapstar Superstar – the relentlessly shit reality talent contest. And for being the token Goth in Coronation Street, obviously. As Craig Harris, Richard Fleeshman has to mope about all day being all miserable – something that we did after hearing him sing. Sexiest Male? Sexiest 10-year-old, maybe. Chris Fountain – Chris Fountain plays Justin Burton in Hollyoaks. Our furious hatred of Hollyoaks means that the only exposure to Chris Fountain we’ve had has been his part in BBC karaoke show Just The Two Of Us, where he sang duets with the masculine one from S Club 7. And, by Christ, did we want to hurt him. Chris Fountain is full of the sort of cocky stage school arrogance that should be kicked out of actors on graduation day. But as Justin Burton, we hear that he plays a murdering stoner that has it off with his teacher. Perhaps the drugs/ illegal sex/ killing people angle is helping push Chris Fountain to the top of the Sexiest Male list, because we can’t see any other reason for it. Nigel Harman – Nigel Harman plays Dennis Rickman in Eastenders. Dennis Rickman was a funny character, wasn’t he? As a character, he walked the line between ‘hardman’ and ‘fairy’ before he got stabbed in the chest and made Sharon do a funny squealing noise. Since leaving Eastenders, Nigel Harman has been doing the whole theatre thing, which means he either can’t get a TV role or he’s fed up with the army of soggy-knickered menopausal housewives trying to mother him all the time. Nigel Harman is the odds-on favourite to win the British Soap Awards Sexiest Male prize, but surely only an idiot would have a Nigel Harman calender on their bedroom wall.
