Jon Bon Jovi is an egotistical bastard. He spends most of his time talking about all the great things his done in his career and how his band has managed to withstand the test of time and beat out all of the other 80s rock bands. When in reality he only makes the headlines if he picks a fight ( as shown here) or continues one like he did with axl rose… thankfully, axl has matured and did not retaliate even though we all know he could kick jbj ass. The darkness are an alright band and are putting out all right music unlike Bon Jovi’s safe and boring ‘have a nice day’ when do real rockers ever say that anyway.. just goes to show that bon jovi is an imposter and could never play real rock even if it bit him in the ass.

They might of split up but that had nothing to do with the music, it’s was Justins own fucking fault for giving into temptation!! They were a great band and i’m sure the new one is going to be great as far as i am concernd as long as Dan sticks to it everything will be fine. Though we all praise Justin and his chemestry Dan was the back bone of The Darkness and his new band! He tried so hard to keep them together but Justin was a fuckwit, amazingly talented and funny, but a fuckwit.

Jon is just green with envy cause his band and status has fallen from grace and now there is a new hot creative band making a huge mark and he cant stand it that there are other bands better then his sucky pussy whipped “rock” band! Fuck Bon Jovi! The Darkness were great! with very cleaver and entertaining lyrics! LONG LIVE THE DARKNESS!

hay,im a big bon jovi fan! if you arent fine.yeah i listen to other stuff but jbj is the shit.ive had a very rough life and if it wasnt for his music i might not be here today.its my life came out after my found out my ex was cheating on me.that song pulled me thru.thank you for loving me is my wedding song,married a great guy the second time,and lay your hands on me,well we wont dicuss that one,hahaha!and another thing my brother is a metal head he likes kiss ozzy metallica and he also likes some of bon jovi,so even if you are a metalhead,jbj has a song for you.jbj has been rockin for years and will rock for years to come!!!!if you like him great if not well then fuck it!i love jbj and thats my opionin

Hey fellow Jovi fans LOL,

Good for you putting out how you feel, and heres how i feel ok, I think that its ok that Jon hate’s The Darkness thats his choice and after all we all have different taste in what we like. So its ok for you guys to go round bad mouthing Jon & his Band But Its not ok for Jon to say how he feels about another group Hah !!!!!!!!!! Im sorry i think you guys are just as bad saying things about BON JOVI If thats the case. Im a Big Bon Jovi fan my self and Ok i like the odd Darkness song but Im not going to stop someone saying how they feel about somthing, thats why we have feedom of speech isnt it.

Thing is If this gets into warr of bands you can bet your ass Jovi fans will back Jon and the band all the way.

I’ve noticed that too Dan—-I guess it’s just not cool to say you like Bon Jovi and that they are a great band.
Every band evolves somewhat–and if they do too much they are considered sell outs.

It’s strange how all the Bon Jovi haters still know all the songs? I saw the Darkness when they were the warm-up band for Def Leppard. I hope they stayed around to see how it should be done! To compare Bon Jovi to the Darkness is like comparing a Lada to a Rolls Royce, and Bon Jovi ain’t the Lada. When the Darkness can sell out Wembley Stadium with 70,000+ two nights running, then perhaps we can have a meaningfull discussion. Until then keep writing about how the Darkness rock, while listening to your Bon Jovi CD’s.

bon jovi’s music has evolved…as said in their song “last man standing” their the last one of the breed, pertaining to glam rock…but on the contrary, i like the darkness for bringing back glam rock in the music scene…

Bit rich of JBJ to slag off the Darkness: they’ve been around for a couple of years, have done a couple of albums and are in their 20s – he was at the same point in his career too once (in the ’80s)!
Just look at his videos – flying over the audience in “Livin’ on a Prayer”, the “comedy” video for “In and Out of Love”, Bon Jovi’s drummer throwing drumsticks in the air in the “You Give Love A Bad Name Video”… etc… he was young and having fun, surely he hasnt forgotten that already? The Darkness are young, let them have their fun for now, maybe they’ll “grow up” and “evolve” too one day.
As for whether Bon Jovi’s music has “grown up”… well if you mean “Jon’s voice isn’t as good as it used to be,” then yes. Ever since he started smoking in the ’90s his voice has turned into the most annoying nasal whine. He needs to quit smoking for the sake of my ears!
