Bobby Brown Arses Up His Radio Bail Deal
Then buzz it up

It was a thoroughly decent thing to do when Hot 99.5 decided to pay $19,000 to get Bobby Brown out of jail for missing child-support payments - it's just a shame Bobby Brown decided to spaz it all up like a twunt the instant he was released.
It seemed a fair enough deal - Hot 99.5 would pay the money to release Bobby Brown from jail, and in return Bobby Brown would be an employee of the station for a week. Hot 99.5 gets publicity, Bobby Brown gets out of jail and a platform to broadcast his side of the arrest story. Everyone's a winner - except for Bobby Brown, that is, who decided to wig out at a DJ down a telephone and then hang-up when he realised what was going on; making the child support-avoiding, wife-beating turd-yanker look even more of a nobsack than usual.
Because Bobby Brown's marriage to Whitney Houston was continually overshadowed by Tackiest Couple awards and wildly out-of-control crack addictions - not to mention a comedy love rival played by Osama bin Laden - you would have thought that following his split with Whitney, Bobby Brown would have wanted to go all out and make a name for himself all over again, wouldn't you? And to be fair, that's sort of what Bobby Brown has done, although not quite in the way we envisaged.
Whitney Houston wasn't Bobby Brown's first love. Before her, he knocked up another woman a bunch of times - except poor old Bobby Brown kept on forgetting to pay his share of child-support for the ensuing sprogs. That's why Massachusetts police hit Bobby Brown with an arrest warrant last year, warning that Bobby Brown would get arrested if he ever set foot in the state again. And at the end of last month, Bobby Brown bumbled back into Massachusetts and - as promised - got duly banged up for a month.
That's where the story should have ended, with Bobby Brown spending 30 nights completely terrified while his eight-foot rapist cellmate stroked his hair in bed - but Washington radio station Hot 99.5 came to the rescue, promising to pay the owed $19,000 in child-support bills and break Bobby Brown out of jail in return for the star spending a week spent working for the station. As we previously said, it was set to be a win-win situation - and then Bobby Brown decided to abruptly back out of the deal as soon as he was a free man, as USA Today reports:
[Bobby Brown] was released after the station paid the $19,150 he owed on the condition that Brown appear on The Kane Show for a week. He was to discuss the case and how he could turn his life around during studio appearances beginning Monday. But Brown backed out of an on-air phone interview with the morning show Friday, saying he hadn't agreed to be an employee of the station. "That wasn't our deal," said Brown, who hung up after Kane pressed him. "We thought we clearly communicated to Bobby our intentions, but once we had him on the air this morning it was clear that we were not on the same page," said Kane, who goes by one name. Both the station, which broadcasts in the Washington area, and Brown's attorney decided the deal wasn't in the singer's best interest and that Brown will return the money. "We feel that there are better things we can do with the money locally," said Kane.
Wait, let's get this straight… there are better things to spend $19,000 on than paying for a repeated criminal with a loudly-professed fondness for digging wads of dry shit out of girls' arses to leave jail early and neatly sidestep the fact that he's not paying for his childrens' upbringing, all for a rubbish publicity stunt? Thank god we found this out now - we had a cheque written out and everything.
